Great Japanese mahjong gameplay with balanced gacha experience

At base, Riichi City delivers if you want to play Japanese mahjong. Game UI is cleanly designed and the art is nice. There are plenty of events and sometimes accompanied with new modes to enjoy mahjong in.The gacha system is pretty generous, they aren’t handing out free characters or anything, but f2p is possible, unlike their key competition Mahjong Soul. Riichi City is better in that aspect on a pretty big margin.
This game is easily the best Japanese Mahjong/Riichi client out. Especially if you are a new player and haven’t invest in Mahjong Soul, this game is definitely the better game in every way (Mahjong Soul is only more popular because it came out first and people have spent too much money on it already). This game is much more generous and it’s just an upgrade over Mahjong Soul in every way. BUT, the one thing that bothers me too much to write a good review is the fact that they did not include the option for standard yellow tiles to play with. It might seem like a small issue, but it’s enough to make me play Mahjojg Soul for now until they add it (and I know Riichi City has a yellow tile but it’s too light and it needs to be the standard darker yellow that is on most real life Riichi sets). I will change my review to 5 stars if they ever add the standard yellow tiles to the game.
