Good app, responsive developer
Obscurity knocks
I really like this app. Visually it’s easier to work with than the stock folders app, and the functionality is both extensive and familiar for Windows users.
Terrible, fatal flaw!

I was quite liking this program, and its functionality, avoiding the dreaded -43 error that seems to block too many bulk file copy and move operations within the Sonoma OS.HOWEVER ... after some months I discovered that the Folders App had - for reasons that I cannot comprehend - built up its own - duplicate - folder library of my data. This duplicate 'library' came to almost 500GB (!!!!!) in size, and came to my attention only because I couldn't understand why Mac OS Finder showed that I'd used up nearly all of my 1TB boot drive.I could maybe have deleted just the duplicate Folders App library, and trialled how things progressed from there, however I feel that if such an enormous flaw in the program exists, perhaps there are other problems there too, that might one day give me regret to have kept the program.Hence - uninstalled.

Now this is a File Manager!

I’ve looked into all the file managers that are on the App Store and this one is by far what a file manager should be like. Please, please developers never abandon this product. I’ve been crying since I’ve got my Mac m4 trying to find a real file manager. Recommend to anyone who has used File managers on other operating systems, wink wink.
Accessibility
davidaus66
As someone wth sight issues, I could not find any way to increase font size, which leaves no way to give positive feedback as it makes the app difficult to use I have already decreased the resolution, but could not reduce it further as it would make the Mac impossible to use.
Developer Response
You can increase the font size on the “General” tab in Settings (Folders > Settings in the main menu), a slider closer to the bottom of the tab.
• You can now save tab sets to quickly restore a specific window setup
• Bug fixes and UX improvements
