I have been a daily user of wardrobe apps for more than six years but Indyx has staying power. I am heading towards my first year on the app and its additional features and commitment to innovation holds me and I have become invested in seeing Devon and Yidi and the team succeed. Why? Because they have built a great looking app which is low in friction compared to others I have used, the social styling element has huge potential, the open wardrobe feature is a gift to the curious and the analytics are really good. An app that makes me committed to cherishing the clothes I have and helps me connect with others whose style interests me is something that has become a ritual in my days, something special just for me. I know some will say that is hard work to load your wardrobe but for me that is part of the pleasure of genuinely reacquainting yourself with the collection you have curated and thinking about its possibilities. Try it out, you may discover that the journey is every bit as rewarding as having your whole wardrobe in your pocket. Creatives and data nerds alike will find joy in this tool.

Hi, it’s me, Devon! Wow. This is so kind, I'm honestly like, 🥹. You've made us feel so seen in our purpose: to help people cherish their clothes, connect with their style, and enjoy the process as much as the result. Thank you for seeing the potential and being part of the journey with us.
Wow!!! Just…wow

Love this app its so so innovative!! as someone who’s learning what their personal style is and trying to enjoy the process of making outfits, this app is just wonderful. Truly something I never knew I needed, but honestly, such a game changer. I could see how this could save me so much money and make me so much more mindful about the purchases I make. As someone who gets easily overwhelmed sometimes by trying on a bunch of outfits. This can cut so much of that out. Additionally, I love the feature about learning your three words. I first learnt about your three words through Christian Mychas (& also this app) and it’s honestly such a game changer. I love the quiz process and how many word recommendations they give. Could not speak more highly of this incredibly made app!! I see how much potential it holds and can’t wait to see how much success it will gain over time. Thank you so much for creating this wonderful platform 🩵
Game changing

This is by far the most valuable app I’ve ever used. Game changing for my wardrobe and personal style. The free version is amazing as is, but I’d highly recommend upgrading to the insider version for the extra analytics and additional features. This app has helped me flex my creativity and I have loved every minute of reacquainting myself with my clothes and cherishing what I have first and foremost. I’ve honed my style, stopped making the wrong purchasing decisions, and have a new sense of abundance and calm. I’ve also been introduced to a body positive, thoughtful, intelligent, fashion-loving community too. Couldn’t imagine my life without it. Thanks Devon and Yidi for creating something so user-centric and values-driven in a world that, right now, seems anything but!

Would like to see outfit planner UX improved

Editing as at May 2025 - the app has now been updated to dramatically improve the way you can resize pieces in the outfit planner. So much better! I can now achieve accurate resizing of small things like jewellery. Thank you! Increases my rating from 3 to 4 stars.Hmm, I’m enjoying having my wardrobe in the app and like the design, but I wish the devs would improve the outfit planner UX. The save button is down the bottom, right next to the button to add things to the outfit. On iPhone, most times you have a save function this button is in the top right. I find myself constantly subconsciously hitting the save button when I want to add (perhaps influenced by the button being darker and therefore more obvious when I’m not really looking at it??), because why on earth is that where the save button is - not intuitive at all. Then, I have to wait (quite a long time for some reason) for the outfit to save before I go back in to keep editing, only for the whole process to repeat at some point during my editing. Additionally, it’s so hard to resize items that you want small (like jewellery) on a phone screen with pinching. At a certain point, it’s hard to get any smaller because your fingers get in the way of each other. Then, if you manage to get an item smaller than a certain point, it’s impossible to go back to make it larger or rotate it if you’ve accidentally rotated it while making it tiny (very easy to do) because you can’t get two fingers that close, so you have to remove it from the outfit, add it back in (likely managing to hit the save button in the process and getting frustrated at that) and start again. I’d like to see resizing moved to something you can do with a drag of one finger, perhaps with a slider or an arrow in the corner that you can drag. This would also allow rotating to be separated out from resizing, which would also benefit from being able to be done with a single finger, leading to fewer frustrations with wildly rotating things when you try to dramatically resize them.
Introducing: Material Insights. Your dashboard now shows a breakdown of your wardrobe by main material type — natural, semi-synthetic, and synthetic — covering not just composition, but how you wear and invest in each category.
We've also added a new notification center, which is now your real-time feed for everything happening in your wardrobe: new items ready to style, outfits styled just for you, the latest features, and more. Finally, (based on your feedback!) we refined the Virtual Selfies UX for a smoother experience — including an easier way to jump straight back to board view on the calendar if selfies just aren't your thing.
