A little buggy improving

I love the app for reviewing current print jobs and reprinting old jobs, but currently it doesn’t have the function to print anything stored on the internal sd card, which kind of defeats the purpose. They also have notification issues, but it is getting better with every update. I’m currently trying to uninstall and reinstall to try fix the lack of notification I am receiving (yes I do have all notifications turned on and it set to notify me on iOS settings but nothing comes through). Love Bambu and the X1C. Hope the slicer and app catch up soon

Great but reduced abilities

The app in previous versions has been great and worked really well to monitor prints for issues and see how they are going. However since the last update the app no longer sends a notification of an error in the print to my push notifications and you can only see the error message upon opening the app and viewing the print progress. It only push notifies print complete or cancelled. This negates the purpose of having an app to monitor our prints. As it may be hours before I can check the progress to see if there is an error. Also it’s only want to connect to the camera when it wants and keeps throwing camera connection errors when trying to view the print. What’s the point of the app now if it doesn’t notify or we can monitor the printing correctly. They seem to be focusing more on the makers world part of the app than being usable for printing.

iPad app needs a lot of work

I love this ecosystem, the printer, the cloud based features, but PLEASE improve the iPad app, currently it’s just a blown up phone app. Firstly we need landscape mode, yes I know the camera view can go in landscape and thats fine (Except errors etc screw up the display) - but most my iPads are in landscape (in Smart Keyboard case or a 3D printed stand) - Also can you make better use of the huge screen of the iPad, for example you could technically fit all the info when printing on one screen without having to scroll down to see filament and temp info. The Models tab shows what is available to print, but the screen is so cramped with large assets that I just use the website and then paste the description in. It’s an awful UX. Please improve this, I promise I’ll come back and give 5 stars! :). Love Bambu Lab!

A very handy app!

I love how you can just find and print anything on Makerworld. It would be even better if there was some integration with the Bambu shop, so you could filter models based on filaments you’ve purchased. It should also always show the bottom menu, so you can easily flip between Device and other tabs without having to lose your search.
