Very helpful in between skin appointments. If it shows anything not low risk I check with my derm. I have had so many skin cancers so am always on high alert.

The camera never focuses properly and dims the exposure automatically for some reason. Each test requires watching ads unless you pay for premium which wouldn’t be a problem if the scans actually worked and weren’t wasted on the wrong part of the skin. The few scans that did work were wildly inconsistent. I couldn’t even ask for support because the keyboard overlaps the field you need to type in so you can’t see. The app feels like it’s held together with tape.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced with the camera and other aspects of the app. This is not the experience we strive to provide our users.We would like to address each of these questions:1) Regarding camera focus and exposure issues: Make sure you are using the latest version of the app - this has been an issue for some users in the past, but we have been fixing this issue this fall. In the meantime, we recommend making sure the lens area is clean and the device is stable during scanning to ensure the best results.2) Regarding inconsistent scans: This should not happen and we would like to better understand the circumstances. Could you please email us your device model and app version at support@skinive.com?3) Regarding the keyboard overlap: This is definitely a usability issue and we are already working on a fix in the next update.
