Just starting going off on my own in my home country as a solo gal, planning on travelling all across Aus & then eventually Overseas! My biggest fear making the leap internationally, is finding it hard to link up with like minded & wholesome people to meet along to journey across continents. But ‘Going Solo’ makes it so easy to talk to fellow travellers ahead of time & plan trips & meet ups together, taking the weigh off your shoulders. It’s great that it functions like a social media profile as well so you can build a page to describe the type of individual you are & your travel interests to make finding others like you easier. Best app, especially for novice nomads!!!

Just downloaded this app a couple days ago and I can tell it’s already amazing! You can easily join groups relating to where you want to travel too and find out so much new information and recommendations from other like minded people and people that have travelled before and it’s a great way to find some friends for your travels! I downloaded to get some tips and tricks and suggestions for my dream European trip and it’s going to help so much. Such a well thought out app!

Before going on my first solo trip I was so worried I would be lonely and not make any friends at my hostels. So when I saw this app I had to download it and it was the best decision I made! I meet so many people though the app in every city I was in and it really made me enjoy travelling so much more. I couldn’t imagine what my 2 month trip would’ve looked like if I hadn’t downloaded Going Solo, 100% recommend!!
