Joined and paid my airtime, time to make a call its saying am not registered. My account has been debited and there is no 24hr support service. Had an urgent issue to convey home had to join and pay for another provider. Upto now l havent got any feed back or explanation why they managed to debit my account but failed to use the service l have paid for
I downloaded this app based on its claim that it supports calling Indian mobile and landline numbers. I activated the 7-day free trial and topped up $5 to test its functionality. I attempted to call a specific Indian landline number (belonging to a bank), but the call never connected. I retried 3–4 times without success.To confirm, I called the same landline via my regular network provider and it connected instantly. Interestingly, when I tested a friend’s mobile number through the app, it worked fine. This made it clear that the app does not support landline calling as advertised.I raised the issue with Rebtel support within minutes, clearly explaining the situation and requesting a refund. However, their response shocked me. A support agent informed me that they personally dialled the number I was trying to reach and claimed it was switched off, without my consent!This is extremely alarming. That number belongs to a bank, and I know for a fact that it never goes offline. Even during after-hours, it gives a system message confirming the bank is closed. To support my claim, I screen-recorded the entire process and submitted it as evidence.I immediately reported this incident to Apple, citing the privacy breach. Regardless of the $5 involved, what deeply concerns me is the fact that someone from Rebtel attempted to contact my given number without authorisation.Moreover, the app repeatedly requested access to my contacts, which I denied. I now realise that it was a wise decision. Granting such access could have put my privacy and data at serious risk.Apple has advised me to share my feedback here, and I have already escalated this to their App Store review team.This experience was unacceptable. I hope others remain cautious when using this app, especially regarding its privacy practices.#Shame

Continued Charging After Cancellation – Avoid

I cancelled my subscription, received confirmation it was deactivated, and deleted the app - yet I was still charged for months afterwards without my consent.Support admitted the cancellation wasn’t handled properly but then tried to shift the blame to “user error” without providing any evidence. Instead of fixing their mistake, they dragged it out and only issued partial refunds.This feels misleading at best. If a company can’t reliably cancel a subscription or take full responsibility when it fails, that’s a serious problem. Check your statements carefully - this experience has completely eroded my trust.
