I’ve had this app for years and am finally writing a review for it. What I love most about it is it’s non-subscription base; Pay once and you have this wonderful app forever. I love that I can stash all my recipes in here and just add the ingredients from each that I need to our shopping list with a simple tap. It’s also handy as hell having the app linked on multiple devices. I’ll set the scene: my husband works from home, and updates the list with the things we need while I’m out at work. I am able to check the list on my way home and pick up everything at the shops. The list also updates live so he can add any last minute items, and I see the changes before I check out. For anyone who’s partner is a bit unpracticed at the weekly shop, you can also add photos to the shopping list items so it’s clear what what the package looks like and what specific brand to get. It’s basically just a live list document that updates in real time, and can be accessed by whoever is connected at any time. Because of this, we don’t just use it for groceries either; we use it for writing an ongoing wishlist of gift ideas for ourselves so we can check each others list around Christmas and birthdays, and for listing tv shows and movies we get recommended to watch so we can actually come back to them eventually. I could go on. But the moral of the story is I frickin’ love our groceries. Keep being awesome.

This is probably one of the best apps I have ever used. I always have my phone with me therefore I always have my shopping list with me. No chance of leaving the shopping list at home! My partner also uses it so when either of us shop we have the grocery list. I’ve also paid for the upgrade and love the ability to photograph items to ensure we buy our favourite products. No matter what store I go to I have the list for each store each store ie Bunnings, Baker Bleu, Spotlight, Officeworks etc. I have one suggestion that I’ve put forward previously that I’d like to see and that is the ability to store photographs in the recipe section which would be a huge benefit! Otherwise all good. Love the app and recommend to all my friends.

Great app. No doubt. And the premium features for $8 are great too ... BUT ... having to pay $8 for EVERY person in the house to be able to scan a barcode is too expensive. For me, my wife and 4 daughters (17, 15, and 14 twins), would cost $48. It’s not worth almost $50 for the family to be able to use properly. Of course you can use the free version but then it becomes no different then from other shopping list apps. No point of difference. The cool thing about this one is you can scan the barcodes ... but it will cost you and your family. Family Sharing means exactly that .... sharing. Not sharing just the free stuff. Sad, because it’s worth 5 stars. And I’m happy to pay the single price. But asking families to pay more based on the amount of family members is wrong. Larger families are struggling to feed the whole family. Now you want everyone to pay. My girls help with the shopping and they actively add to the list ... I guess we’ll go back to using messages. That way I don’t have to pay each time my kids want to use the app. Cost should be a once off payment. Make it $11 once off. Even that’s better. Just a thought. Such a shame. 😔

This app has made grocery planning and shopping with the family SO MUCH easier. I love how everything is updated in real time. It makes it easy for anyone to add their items to the grocery list and on shopping day we can all go to different shops and still check off all the items correctly. The recent app update focused on a refresh while improving the user experience which was great.I also appreciate how the app has a free version and the ads are not intrusive (which is a common problem for other free apps!). You can tell the creators of the app genuinely care about their users and just want to make grocery shopping easier for all.
