This app makes train bookings so easy

I downloaded this app to assist with my train bookings in the UK, I can’t recommend it enough. The app does all of the hard work for you, checking routes, fares, timetables and even does the seat reservations for you. With so many different rail companies to manage, having them all at your fingertips with this app is invaluable. You don’t need to do anything except put the route into the search engine.There is a small booking fee with each transaction, but is worth it and still cheaper in many cases than other apps and even booking direct. An hour before each journey you get a reminder on your phone telling you if your train is on time or delayed and what platform it leaves from. In most cases your ticket is in the app.. Simply brilliant !!

Download this app if you want to use trains in Europe. I’ve bought tickets for my family in my country AUD and so easy with so many options to choose from. Digital tickets for Apple wallet is a welcome! Very recommended app for buying train tickets anywhere in Europe. Forza Italia. 🇮🇹🏎️

I usually never write negative reviews but this company made my travel experience so stressful. The app kept updating train times (delaying and going back to normal) and they wouldn’t swap our tickets even though it clearly said you can change your train for up to 30mins before departure (I have screenshots). We contacted customer service and they refused to change the train or refund us, forcing us to a buy a new ticket from Napoli to Rome from a different company. I have been emailing customer service back and forth and it’s been 3 months of them saying “be patient, be patient” which is highly unacceptable. If you don’t want to end up booking 2 tickets for double the price, don’t book with Trainline and don’t bother contacting their appalling customer service team. 0 stars if I could.
