The company which I used for email services for 25 years decided to move away from email services. Which was a small problem for me and my family, as you can imagine. So the search began. I explored and attempted to use several different systems. All were long on promises but short on delivery. Difficult to use, clunky, limited security and limited features. Then I stumbled on GMX. What a revelation, consumer friendly would be the understatement of the century. Uncomplicated download, easy installation, all the features I required, top level security together with simple transfer of data from my old service. Set up was easy and intuitive. Support and explanations were superb and happened in real time. What an amazing system. I just needed something which I could use and forget about. GMX delivers in spades , as they say. If like me, you were lost in the wilderness, you just found the promised land. GMX, just use it !A small problem relates to the speed of downloads of new emails, can be a little frustrating.I know , I am impatient and it probably means that I have not set something up correctly.Thanks for reading this far,Barry

Does what an email should. Does not harvest data. Did get locked out of my original account and never got access to it again. I'd avoid using your name. If someone wants it - it appears to be a conflict and your account is frozen due to irregular activity. That's the best explanation I got. Set up 2 accounts with one as a backup if one gets frozen. Otherwise - great email service and I would definitely go for the paid version. Cheers - Wookie

Has always worked well only down side. A few of my email account were made inaccessible or something not to sure why after I didn’t log into them for over 12 months due to a holiday then on return they were inaccessible so I lost some important information due to this problem. But some were left accessible really strange so I wouldn’t use this service for anything that requires any important information to be accessible indefinitely.

I have been a user for many years and have found no fault with the service. If there has been any issue it has been dealt with very promptly and rectified. The features are exceptional and in this day and age it is fantastic to have a service that one doesn’t have to pay for and has good security features. I will continue to use GMX.
