I prefer Sunday to be properly placed as the first day of the week. American festivals are not relevant here. Easter days are not properly named. It would be good to name at least Ash Wednesday,Palm Sunday and Easter Day (NB Not Easter Sunday). The term Easter weekend is acceptable. Easter Saturday is not the day before Easter Day but the Saturday after Easter Day. The two most important weeks of the Western Christian year are as follows: HOLY WEEK - Palm Sunday, Holy Monday - Tuesday-Wednesday, Holy Thursday or Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday or Easter Eve. EASTER WEEK- Easter Day, Easter Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday-Friday-Saturday. Ascension Day is on Thursday - 40 days after Easter Day. Pentecost Sunday or Whitsunday is the following Sunday and completes the sacred Easter cycle that began on Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the Lenten fast. Trinity Sunday begins the cycle of ordinary or numbered Sundays that stretches through to Advent , which falls usually four Sundays before Christmas.

To change the first day of the week just go to the side menu of the app ( the three horizontal stripes in the right upper corner) and open Week Layout. Now you see in the left corner down under: First day of the week. There you can change Monday into Sunday. I’ve used Easy Calendar for many years now. With family sharing I put it on my kids phones also and we have our own calendars plus the shared family one.I love the weekly layout and the daily view. It’s so simple and clean.I asked the developers a question and got a helpful response the same day! Wow.

This app is fantastic and so handy. I love the customisation and use of separate calendars. Only suggestion/request is to stop the events added to a day on one calendar automatically listing in alphabetical order and rather be listed in the order they are created as not all events I make are at a specific time and are not arranged in order of time.

After trying a few other calendars they all seemed to have a unique selling point that all just turned out to be gimmicks at the end of the day. Easy calendar just does the job and makes your calendar so easy to use and, importantly, view. The update is great as well, no major changes just a bit of modernisation, perfect.

Easy calendar just does the job and makes your calendar so easy to use and, importantly, view. The update is great as well, no major changes just a bit of modernisation, perfect.
