The hotel was in a good location not far to the Queen Street mall, restaurants and transport. $50 per night to park your car was ridiculous though so we didn’t bother keeping the hire car overnight. There was a circular driveway which made catching a uber easy without traffic to worry about. The foyer was very fancy but the rooms looked a bit worn by comparison although the room was clean and had everything you would need for 2 nights stay and they made the bed and refreshed our towels each day. The shower was a bit small but water temperature and pressure was great. The bed moved about every time we sat on it though so it could use brakes on the wheels underneath. Didn’t have a nice view out the window which I thought we would get choosing city views as per the image provided but I guess we didn’t stay in the room much anyway. The roof top pool and bar was nice in the hot weather too. They stored our luggage before and after and let us have early check in and late check out to accommodate our flight times and assisted with moving our luggage which was helpful. We had a fair bit because we had been on a cruise before checking in. The massage place was fantastic and the restaurant downstairs was good and did the best gluten free pizza we’ve ever had! Overall it was a good choice and we would stay there again.

We were a family of 2 grandparents 2 parents & 3 children 5, 7 & 9 spread over 2 garden view rooms for 8 nights.Although the adults have been to Fiji a number of times it was our grandchildren’s first time outside Australia. We consider Fiji the number 1 choice for introducing young children to a different country and culture.Denarau Island is home to a number of quality resorts, we chose the Sheraton Fiji Golf Resort for its location, amenities and pricing.We all had an amazing stay with priceless family time. From the world class buffet breakfast through to great restaurants for lunch, dinner and room service there was plenty of choice to suit all ages.Our days were spent relaxing and eating by the pools, swimming and enjoying many resort cultural activities, games and just fun family stuff offered by the Sheraton and it’s amazing attentive staff members. Having a very affordable drop in kids club for the children gave us all time to relax and just chill when we needed some down time. We found the Rosie Tours on site booking desk a great way to organise our days and outside activities with the Bula Bus a convenient way to access even more restaurants and shopping at the nearby marina.Now we have just returned home we are planning when we will able to return an enjoy Sheraton and Fijian hospitality again.

It's fine on the website but finding accommodation in a specific area is nigh on impossible in the app. The map view only ever loads the top three results. Surely this is a glitch? I wondered if there was something in my settings but I can't find anything, nor would it make sense to have a default search setting that only lets a user see three options. And I can't even narrow my search to get a more appropriate top three; I want to stay in Carlton/Fitzroy, but the top three options that come up are always down by Southern Cross Station and around the river, even if I choose North Carlton or North Fitzroy as my destination. If I'm travelling to North Fitzroy, how is a hotel in Southbank a top three option? And filtering is no help, because a lot of the Area and Popular Location options just don't show up in the filter list. I tried selecting University of Melbourne, but it errored out, and when I tried again, that option wasn't there. Expedia definitely does have accommodation available in the area I'm after, it's just impossible to find using the app alone.To use the app, you effectively need to search the website first and save your accommodation or package favourites, then find your saves in the app later. And I am not sure you can see the app specials if you save on the web first anyway. So until they fix the search mechanism, in particular the map view, the app is basically redundant.

I do not recommend expedia for anything. I purchased a flight that clearly stated that cancellations were applicable and that a cancellation fee by singapore air would be applicable. I reviewed singapore air’s range of cancellation fees and it was max $400 and on some flights it clearly states non-refundable. The expedia app can tell you when cancellations are not allowed, meaning non-refundable ticket, but it can also tell you cancellations are allowed with a cancellation fee when it is actually booking you a non-refundable ticket and if you cancel, you lose the entire fare and may only get some taxes back. The communication is misleading and not transparent enough about what you are actually buying from the airline. It could easily be their way to make you think you are getting a good deal when they could be deliberately hiding the fact that you are not getting the flexibility as advertised. I wasted a whole morning on the phone talking to various staff (one of which panicked and hung up on me) only to be told sorry you have a nonrefundable ticket, our hands are tied. No compensation for selling me the wrong product (I did not want a non-refundable flight) but they were not willing to even escalate this to someone to go and fix this misinformation/false-advertising on the app which is why you should not use this because you have no idea what you are even paying for.
