For the creator- Hi I love dragon vale! I play it every day and night, I just have one request, to be able to gift friends (except noagard) eggs. Many times have I bred a dragon my friends have wanted, it usually happens often, about twice. As a good friend I am suggesting it to you! No hate if you think it would be a bad idea because of ect , just a thought. Another idea is to be able to co-leader people, rank them in some sort of way, like have people have different abilities to edit your park. One more idea is that you can pay, some sort of in game cash to make your own dragon, of course there would be some sort of restrictions so people don’t make their dragon op. Maybe like if your dragon has dark, it can’t be part of the rift? Idk just a thought. For people thinking about getting this great game- I recommend any lovers of dragons and mythical creatures like me, to get this game. It is very fun being able to make your own dragons breed your dragon with friends and all that stuff, like customising your island. Download this game. It will give you no regrets. What so ever. You don’t have to have friends to play, it is still as fun by yourself. I play this game at the start of the day, then at the end. Dragon vale asks for your birthday, so if you delete the app, it will save it for you! I deleted the app about 2 years ago and I have only started playing again in January 2020.

While you see a lot of games similar to dragonvale where you breed dragons for a park all over the App Store, dragonvale is easily one of the oldest. It’s also one of the more casual ones, with more of a focus on collecting dragons and building your park than most others. There isn’t even a combat system, which may be a turn off for some people but personally I find it relaxing just to come to my park and check around. The game also has in app purchases, but unlike a lot of other games on the App Store, dragonvale is suprisingly generous with its premium currency, allowing you to earn a good chunk daily for free and even having special dragons you can breed that earn gems instead of gold. Even without combat there’s plenty to do. Dragon racing, decorating your park, collecting new dragons, acquiring relics, helping in the rift, plenty to occupy yourself. Although, like most other games of this type, you will, most of the time, just leave the park to earn money and check in from time to time to collect, so if that’s not your kind of thing then I don’t know if you’ll enjoy it or not, but personally I just enjoy looking around my park, it’s strangely relaxing even if I don’t collect any cash when I check. My one and only complaint is the racing I mentioned. Sometimes I just flat out can’t win regardless of my dragon’s element. It’s not a total buzzkill, even second place’s prizes are pretty good value, but it’s still somewhat bothersome.A message for DECA - you’ve been given quite a good game to manage in the wake of the Backflip shutdown. Please handle it with care. I’ve been playing dragonvale for almost a decade now, so I hope it doesn’t get shut down.

Dragonvale has been my favourite game to play on and off for over 10 years now. It’s so fun, exciting and very addicting. The graphics are amazing and they offer low resolution mode in order for big parks to load faster, which is very helpful and since I play this on an iPhone, I couldn’t even tell the difference between low & high resolution. The detailing of this game is amazing. Each of the 500+ dragons you could breed has its own history and lore.However this game does have its flaws. As said in a few reviews, breeding can be very frustrating as it may take weeks to get a new dragon, and while you try, you get the same types of dragons over and over again. The game also comes out with new events to earn unique currency every few months with prizes for brand new dragons & other items. This is when the game gets a bit greedy as the prizes are very expensive, but you can only earn a small amount of currency each day, causing you to miss out on a lot of the new dragons and even the items altogether. Coincidentally it’s also during this time that Dragonvale has a “Sale” when you can use real money to buy currency. Even if you do buy currency with real money (which I have) it’s still not enough to get most of the prizes unless you spend like $50+. It ruins the fun of the game especially when you get to over 100 levels and just want to complete your collection of dragons but keep falling more and more behind because you can’t possibly win all the prizes in the game without spending a fortune. Not to mention that you still have non-event dragons to breed as well.

I’ve loved this game since it first came out, and recently picked it back up in 2020 when I found out my new boyfriend played it.The sole issue I have with the game is that you can’t gift eggs to friends. I think there should be a tier system in place, maybe where you can only gift dragons where the person already has one of the type. Eg; can gift an aurora dragon if your friend already has a rainbow-type dragon. Alternatively, a level-based system where epic dragons cannot be traded until, say, the recipient is level 50.I love this game, the dragon designs are a mix of adorable, beautiful, and cool, and I really appreciate none of the dragons are pay-to-get like most games nowadays.The only request I have is that the devs fix an issue in the current valentines update. They have added the ability to donate dragons you breed in exchange for roses, however in the rift they have replaced the ability to release dragons in exchange for etherium. I don’t see why both can’t be an option, as they have not removed any options from the regular hatchery.Thankyou so much to the devs for so regularly updating and adding to the game, its a pleasure to play <3
