Compatibility issues with iOS 17 fixed – app crashed with new users entering details without a signature and some users did not have their driver work diary drawing their work lines correctly

App crashing when calculating drive time fixed – some users were having issues with the app crashing when calculating drive time which is now fixed.

EWD Friendly – select ‘using EWD’ when adding a log sheet and it will allow you to select start/end time in minutes intervals rather than 15 minute intervals. Extra 8 minutes EWD mode – if you have selected ‘using EWD’ it allows an extra 8 minutes to find a parking bay as per EWD rules. Fixed stability issues – app should be more stable with new versions of iOS

Fixed crash issue when tabbing to Start/End town – app was crashing on iPads if you tabbed to Start/End town rather than tapping on it GPS button not working on iPhones – fixed issue introduced by fixing GPS button crash for iPads that caused iPhones GPS button not to work Warning for over 100km/hr – app will give you warning if you go over 100km/hr when entering data for a log entry

Fixed crashing devices using iOS9 – new update was causing devices running iOS9 to crash on startup which is now fixed GPS button crash on iPads –fixed issue where the app would crash if you were using it on an iPad running iOS14 or later Date/Time Picker - changed back to original spinning style

New Dashboard Mode – we have made it easier to enter your log entries into Logbook Checker with our New Dashboard Mode. Just tap on Steering Wheel to start driving, the Sleep icon if having a non-stationary rest (2up only) and the Stop Button when you finish. WA 14 day calc – fixed issue where the app was breaching too early if you had gone over your 14 day hours using WA ruleset. Consecutive Night Rest Break – app now counts forward from between a two consecutive night rest break rather than only from the last break of two consecutive night rest breaks. Other minor updates – fixed a few issues where the app may crash and any incompatibilities with iOS14.

Daily Check time – automatically defaults to what was entered on the previous day Log entry rest time – fixed rare issue where rest time was not calculating correctly.

Fixed issues duplicating iCloud files – when backing up or uploading to iCloud it was not recognising if file already existed – now fixed Initial screen back to Log Sheet list – the app now opens straight up to Log Sheet list screen instead of Other Info tab

Added new tab for user settings, etc – added a new tab to make it easier for users to find user settings, YouTube tutorials and transferring datafile to and from iCloud Fixed issues with dark mode – final few screens needed to be updated to work with dark mode including sending range of work diary sheets

Fixed incompatibilities with iOS 13 – a number of incompatibilities with iOS 13 fixed with this version of Logbook Checker.  Updated all screens for Dynamic Type – information was overlapping on screens when users changed their Settings on their device to show Larger Text Sizes. All labels/fields will now adjust correctly depending on the size of the text you have chosen in Settings > Accessibility > Display and Text Size > Larger Text.

Fixed incompatibilities with iOS11 – navigating between log sheets from the log entry list screen was causing viewing issues on the log sheet list screen is now fixed. Also viewing issues with Driving Statistics screen fixed.

Fixed incompatibilities with iOS11 – list of locations was not appearing when entering start/end locations for log entries.

Fixed error in 7/14/28 Day counting – app was not calculating correctly on rare occasions when users had ‘old counting 7/14/28 Day periods’ switched to OFF. Adding Vehicles – app was crashing when adding vehicles using the latest iOS version 10.2. The app does not crash now although this appears to be the result of a bug with iOS 10.2 which we hope they will fix in the near future.

Fixed Driver Stats issue when counting long/night hours – app was showing incorrect totals for long/night hours in Driver Statistics when ‘old counting 7/14/28’ day period was turned OFF.

Fixed issue with app crashing upon opening – app was crashing when first opened for some users when it opens after last update.

Index on Logsheet list screen to allow fast scrolling –added an index of previous months and years on the right side of Logsheet list screen to allow for fast scrolling directly to a particular month or year. iOS10 fixes – implemented a number of workarounds and fixes to allow the app to work better with iOS10.

Old counting option for 7/14/28 Day periods (except WA rules) – the last update changed the counting calculation for 7/14/28 day periods to begin from the end of a 24hr (or greater) break. Whereas we have had advice from the NHVR in regards to this change we are not confident that law enforcers will be as up to date with this change. We have introduced a switch in user details (Vehicles > Drivers List >Tap on your name in the list) so you can choose for Logbook Checker to calculate the old way (count forward from the end of any major break – turn switch to ON which will be the default) or the new way (count forward from the end of a 24hr or longer break – turn switch OFF). Driver Statistics has hours to be released – if you have the above switch turned to ON (old counting for 7/14/28 day period) you will get hours to be released tomorrow, 3 day and 6 days again. For those with the switch turned to OFF (count forward from end of 24hr break for 7/14/28 day period) it will now tell you hours left for current 14 day counting period, hours to be released at end of this period and when the next counting period ends. Backup to iCloud using iOS10 fixed – app would crash when going to do a backup/restore from iCloud with iOS10 – now fixed.
