Love the app, which came as part of the package I bought for my MacBook, although occasionally it won’t let verifier safe websites load in Safari. This problem does seem to be happening less than it used to, possibly because I’ve had to change my default browser to Chrome. The other issue is one someone wrote about in a review a year or two back - I renewed using a new product key as my son was able to buy me an upgraded TM package much cheaper than I could renew it for online. The problem is I receive email after email, months after upgrading, telling me to come back and offering discounts. I’ve tried responding to explain I’m using a new product key but it hasn’t stopped the emails coming.

Hi Guys,I use Trend on all of my Microsoft PC’s and mobile iOS devices, it’s been excellent in keeping us safe with most device security aspects.However, I recently had an experience with a new iMessage “potential scam” on my iPhone that seemed to have rattled me, when I was unable to report the issue back to Trend.This particular iMessage (SMS) only contained an image, nothing else. When I went to report it, the usual normal reporting selection check boxes for marking either “safe” or “spam” would not appear! I was forced to block the incoming phone number and deleted the specific iMessage (SMS). Unfortunately, in haste and panic, I neglected to take a screen shot before deletion.The mobile trend reporting feature seems to work well with iMessages containing texts, as I found out a few day latter when I received another “potential scam message” on my iPhone.Did I do something wrong in dealing with iMessages that only contain images. I’m reluctant to click on any image that is unsolicited and looks very suspect.Your advice and comments would be appreciated.

They are not answering emails about my issues even though I’ve twice written to their quote email address about them (as they requested in Developer feedback).I’ve tried calling them and get a full voice messaging service which says it’s full and can’t take more. Online chat never has someone arrive and I’ve sat endlessly on phone till I’ve given up. May be the worst customer service I’ve had.The vpn in this app still stops apps loading, blocks iMessages sending and pages loading in Safari - even when I have specifically recorded them as approved sites.I have been a loyal user of their PC version and that seems to have served me. My own tech support says stay with that but never expect to talk to a real person.. unless sitting on phone to tech support for a very long time.Don’t know how they can be thorough in addressing web threats on PC yet so lacking in other aspects of their service. Very disappointing.

I have to say going from other brands over the years this is the best one. For not only it’s security but also it’s on going updates. This with password protect. I have finally gone back to all Mac. Always used there phones. But now saved enough to get a MacBook Pro so iPhone and ipad with the laptop. I know my email is looked after and my iPad iPhone and browsers. With out having a whole lot of other parts to get individually. Highly rate it, being in Australia and using these. Has helped me a lot and the Mac side of it works with out a problem. Very easy to use and setup. Then it takes care of the rest. Will continue with the company. Cheers
