Good but reminders annoying

I like that the events are frequent, although often too short. My only complaint is that there are pop-up reminders on how to play the game. I’ve been playing for a while so the frequent reminders (sometimes daily, sometimes less but always at least once a week) of how to merge 2 items is deeply frustrating. I wish there was an option in settings to just turn off tutorials. There are also tutorials for every event when they start, even though the events are very similar and just a change of theme. I would love to be able to skip all how to play reminders and event tutorials and just get to the game.

I love this game. I play it almost every day. But this game, and the others from this company (I play several) have a major problem with too many things going on. If I only have a couple of minutes between stuff to play I don’t want to spend half of that closing pop ups for the same event that was on a week or a month ago. There needs to be a point at which they understand the player has been playing long enough they don’t need 4-6 popups explaining an event that is the same as yesterday’s event with a different skin. Genuinely the only reason I don’t spend money on this company’s games is that I know I will get sick of the popups sooner or later and find another game. It’s so frustrating bc the games themselves are fantastic, some of the best merge games I’ve played, and would be easy 5* reviews, but the overload of popups prevents you from GETTING to the fun. I can’t recommend them to my friends because I know 3 days in they would delete the game because of the popups. Between events and “limited time” purchase packs (that appear daily) it’s not uncommon to close 10 popups before you even start playing. I hope they will consider reducing these, I love the games and really want to enjoy them instead of finding them frustrating!

I love this game. I play it almost every day. But this game, and the others from this company (I play several) have a major problem with too many things going on. Absolute money grab. I have played this game for nearly 3 years. I was 1 card short of a complete album & was excited to finally win the final ‘BIG’ prize. No matter how many packages, energy or gems I purchased I could not acquire this last remaining card. So over the duration of the campaign I managed to win all of the album cards (& many, many duplicates) except 1 card but with about 6 days remaining I thought it would be plenty of time to win it. But even after a week of many purchases just trying to get this last card of course it didn’t happen & obviously was never going to. They just keep you trying to get there with just ‘one more’ purchase but even after dozens of duplicate cards I still couldn’t get the single 1 that I needed. It is now blatantly obvious that this is their planned operation of the game & nothing to do with the random acquisition of the cards so don’t waste your money. I am done with this game & any other game from this developer. “Fool me once.” 😡👎👎👎(I too was also charged double for one of my package purchases after first saying said purchase was incomplete but I did manage to get my money back from Apple.)

Fun at the beginning but then takes too much time

I’ve been playing Seaside escape for around 1 month or so and have been enjoying it; but recently have noticed that a lot of the orders are for either 1) secondary / rare items from generators (I.e. have spent 100 energy on 1 generator to get a higher level of an item, but that item did not produce at all) or 2) the by product of a by product of a by product (I.e. the order is for the the highest level of generator 3 which was the product of generator 2 and so on). It’s now been days since I’ve been able to complete a genuine order, and when I finally do the tool boxes don’t provide what I need. My enjoyment has plateaued, and it’s only possible to finalise some orders if you just focus on the bingo challenges etc and receive the special prizes. Was initially happy with the game given it was reasonable, good plot and no ads, but the constant pop ups of promotions to spend actual money, as well as the challenges requiring a lot of game money/ tools + diminishing returns on orders has steered me off. Will stop playing and delete the app.
