WHAT IS VENUE?
Venue is a free room decorating app for iPhone and iPad where players style realistic interior spaces, complete client projects, and design your room as they imagine it. One of the calmest decorating games on the store, Venue replaces match-3 and energy meters with intuitive drag-and-drop styling, soothing music, and a deep catalog of real-world decor.
WHAT MAKES VENUE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER HOME DESIGN GAMES?
Venue is one of the few home design games with no puzzles, no timers, and no daily play limits. Most popular decorating games lock progress behind match-3 or energy mechanics. Venue is built around the design itself: you spend your time styling, not solving. The catalog feels like a real interior decorating app, with textiles, lighting, and furniture modeled on current interior design trends, placing Venue among the best interior design apps for players who care about realism.
IS VENUE A GOOD GAME FOR ADULTS WHO WANT TO RELAX?
Yes. Venue is built as a calm creative home design game for adults. With soothing music, intuitive controls, and a deep library of dream room ideas, it suits evening wind-down, anxiety-friendly play, or quiet creative time. Many players use Venue the way others use coloring books: a low-stakes outlet for creativity, unlike most pressure-driven design games.
HOW DO YOU PLAY AND PROGRESS IN VENUE?
You receive a client brief, a blank room, and a curated catalog of furniture, lighting, plants, wallpapers, and textiles. Drag pieces into place, mix textures, and submit when happy. Earn rewards, unlock locations, and move through a designer career story. Weekly Limited Series, Pet Events, and the Style Book keep things fresh, setting Venue apart from generic room decoration games.
WHAT KINDS OF ROOMS CAN YOU DESIGN IN VENUE?
Venue covers living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, home offices, outdoor patios, and vacation properties from villas to cabins, penthouses, and cottages, one of the most varied games for house design available. It delivers the kind of range games about designing a house rarely offer.
WHO IS VENUE BUILT FOR?
• Adults looking for interior design games to unwind with after work
• Interior design fans who want home decor play without renovation costs
• Players tired of puzzle mechanics in other house design games
• Casual gamers who enjoy progression without competitive pressure
• iPad and iPhone users who want a polished, touch-first room decorating app

enjoyable & thought-out but not enough coin rewards
AshleyySunnyy
The game is relaxing and the design and details into each event and challenge are visibly thought out and curated. I’ve been using the app for 2 months now and I do enjoy it from time to time. However, it’s frustrating that the coins you spend designing the space are exponential compared to the reward you receive for competing the room. So you’re sort of cohersed into having to spend money for more coins, if you want to complete another room. Or you’ll either have to wait hours or days for the free daily reward coins- which still aren’t really enough to consistently play. I wish the prize coins were a more, so users can consistently spend more time in the game than having to wait for daily rewards.

Thanks so much for your thoughtful feedback — we’re really glad to hear you’re enjoying the design and thoughtful challenges in Venue. We completely understand the frustration around coin balance and the impact on how often you can play. Improving rewards and making the experience more sustainable for all players is a top priority, and your input helps guide those updates. Thanks for being part of the community!
Gets old
mmanix2
This game has so much potential, out of most of the interior design games this one has been great! Unfortunately, it becomes very old very quickly. There aren’t a lot of items to choose from when designing rooms, it’s always mostly the same stuff. The more designs you do, the more the items cost. Where i am in the game, my designs are costing around $3,000 each time (you can only use most items once, so you are constantly having to buy more and more), if you get the highest score possible you only win about $2,000. So then you have to wait for the daily rewards, (which also aren’t much whatsoever.) I appreciate the fact that this game has no ads, but why make your users feel the need to BUY coins with real money. The designs become old, there are a small amount of patterns, colours and texture available. Not to mention when selecting table pieces including plates and glasses, you can barely see them. They often come up too small on the screen or the colours are too dull to notice them. Because so many of the items are too small (including candles, plants and sculptures), voting becomes very difficult. Because of the graphics i often only vote for the best colours and how it looks altogether. I never notice the decor itself. This could be such a good game if the right care went into it. I know the design community doesn’t have a lot of good options when it comes to games like this.

Potential if they weren’t money hungry
zaaaaazaar95
The game has a lot of potential unfortunately the developers are extremely money hungry and so you have very little creativity or imagination available. You get a limited amount of colours and designs and the matching ones are always going to cost real money after the first few free designs. The game seems to have an extremely wide range if you take into account everything offered in every design but because they only give you a limited choice for each design and usually those are stock standard kind of and then the cool imaginative ones only come up every 1 in every 50 designs… if this game would just let people use their imagination. It actually would have so much potential but because it wants to limit people completely and only rewards those who pay a lot of money in terms of materials and also prizes… When I go onto the leaderboard for the winning designs.. every time they are ugly and they are mismatched. They are ugly and it doesn’t make sense unless it’s only because the people who won are paying real money.

Another good game spoilt by GREED.
The Felix50
I would have written a good review for this game because it used to very enjoyable but now extremely money hungry! Recently it has been plagued with bugs and problems which seem to have been fixed but I do notice there are LESS free or “watch adds for coins” now. I got fed up with all the bugs so have only come back to it now. A week ago I bought the monthly pass and within a few days I had already used all the extra coins etc and am relegated to waiting for the “ad watch” to get daily coins. I would NOT advise downloading this game unless you want to continuously pay out to play. The items are so expensive either in cash or gems that you are lucky to be able to play two games a day without paying for more coins or buying gems. The rewards are a pittance (even with the pass) compared to what you have to pay for each game and the spinning wheel is pretty much rigged to only pay out minor gifts. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR GAMES.
