Easy to configure and works well, with latest patch release the speed has improved. Works well cloud recording but didn’t work with 256gb SD card.

Cameras are ok but app is unusable. The SD card records video files (supposedly mp4) in sequence, but the files require Potplayer to read them on a PC. It appears the app/camera itself can read them. But the files are all stamped with the same timestamp so if you try to scroll to a particular time and it will always scroll to the beginning of recording for that day. No facility to download videos from Camera storage unless you physically remove SD card. Upgrade to 3-day Cloud says the charge is $3.99 but when it goes to charge you it charges $5.99.

The generated video files are arranged as short videos. You only need to drag them into the player to view them. I bought this camera for security it works ok but you cant view video detection even though it has an as sd card in it that I supplied for recordings you only have access to photos and if you want to see video you have no choice but to buy cloud storage starting at $6.00 a month I’m not made of money and no matter how cheap it is it’s a scam you should have the right to view video straight from the memory card like my other cameras I would not recommend this to anyone thanks for nothing

Hello, About the motion detection recording, please enable the motion tracking and motion detection buttons in Cam720 app, you can also set different recording modes in the SD card interface: timed recording mode, detection recording mode and all-day recording mode. when you view the video playback on the SD card, you can also know which part is moving. The gray area indicates that the video image is relatively still and the person or object is not moving. If you enable the motion detection and motion tracking functions, a red area will appear, indicating that there are people or animals moving in the played video.

Unfortunately, doesn’t have the option of switching off the device or to buy the iCloud which doesn’t work for people in Australia like me.Very disappointing.
