Honestly, the concept is great, listen to tunes, go for a run with out the phone, awesome… but it makes my watch go from 100% to flat in about 15 minutes. I usually use Strava and Spotify running at the same time as each other and its fine. But when i use watchcloud it just turns my watch flat (or atleast it thinks its flat). Although when i turn my watch back on it stays at 10% for the rest of the run and rest of the day. Bit of a strange one and i know my watch battery is fine, id be happy to get in contact with the devs and send logs or whatever else because i want this to work so bad.
Thanks for your feedback! Unfortunately the app will need to rely on the watch's cellular connection if it's not able to use the phone's internet connection. Unlike Spotify, this is a third party app that doesn't perform any caching or downloading for offline listening as this would violate SoundCloud's ToS for using their public API. 100% to flat in 15 minutes does sound a bit more extreme than I've seen in my testing when going for runs without my phone. Could you please update your review with the Apple Watch model and watchOS version you're using so that I can try to recreate this scenario? Cheers mate 🇨🇦🤝🇦🇺
