Guncho is a single player turn based tactical wild west shooter-roguelike. Engage in a unique positional shooting mechanic and fight your way through a series of randomly generated levels. Ride your donkey and use a variety of skills and bullet upgrades to become the ultimate gun slinger.
About this game
In this single-player tactical Wild West shooter-roguelike, you play as Guncho against a variety of bandits and outlaws. In a series of randomly generated levels, you use your trusty revolver to fight your way through each encounter. At the end of every run, you will face a final boss which you need to defeat in order to become the ultimate gun slinger.
Gameplay
Guncho's gameplay revolves around a unique positional shooting mechanic. By moving, shooting, and unloading bullets, you influence Guncho's revolver rotation. To outwit your enemies, align your bullets through clever tactical moves. You can also use the environment to overcome the challenges of each level, by targeting explosive barrels or pushing your foes into fire or deadly cacti. After each level, choose from a variety of bullet upgrades and skills to further improve your tactical abilities. In each run, you face a final boss that will test your skills and tactical finesse.

Lots of fun and challenging at times. It would benefit a lot from characters being labelled with their turn order, rather than us having to remember and track that.
Great!

Update: bug fixed! I’ve really enjoyed the game, but every time a session ends (from final death or victory), the game just sits there. It’s not frozen, but nothing else happens. I have to restart the game every time.
I don’t think you understand difficulty level
Thinking gamer
Why bother with higher levels of difficulty. Is your market for chess grand master? Good game in concept. You overestimate your audience.
Amazing Strategy Game with Room for Improvement
CoppieKris
I'm really enjoying this game so far, but I've noticed some inconsistencies that make the outcome feel unpredictable. Here are a few suggestions to enhance the strategy and planning aspects:1. Add a sequence indicator to enemy units, showing which one will take its turn first. 2. Allow players to choose their spawning position instead of being fixed to the middle of the map.3. Remove warnings for actions that lead to game over, and let players learn from their mistakes.
Howdy,
this is another small bugfix update.
If you haven't yet, please rate and review the game!
See you in the wild west!
