Subscription trap

Imote feels like a classic trap app. It works for the first few uses, which makes you think it’s actually free, but after that every single click brings up a subscription pop-up. At that point the app becomes basically unusable. I would totally understand if it still actually let my action I did before the add go through after I click off the add but it doesn’t. Furthermore there are no clear instructions on how to remove its access to the TV/how it’s access works I search. I don’t understand why they even have a free tier. Furthermore, I’ve seen in the other review reply’s made by iMote that that’s for the advanced functionality is changing a channel or putting the volume up and down considered advanced. If so they need to clearly disclaim that. as to me, I believe that there’s no any advanced

You constantly are responding to people, saying you will consider the price. It is absolutely ridiculous! $14 would be fine, if it was a ONE payment instead of $14 A MONTH. If you made the app $14 it would’ve been fine, I know you’re trying to make money but the price is ridiculous. Make extra features like instant music or something a way to get money.

You constantly are responding to people, saying you will consider the price. It is absolutely ridiculous! $14 would be fine, if it was a ONE payment instead of $14 A MONTH. If you made the app $14 it would’ve been fine, I know you’re trying to make money but the price is ridiculous. Make extra features like instant music or something a way to get money.

For the in-app subscription cost, you could just buy replacement remotes. The prices are ridiculous and there’s no option to try for free before subscribing. There are plenty of universal tv remote apps in the App Store. Download one of those. This app is just a blatant cash grab.
