I think one of the biggest reasons I love Alta is decision fatigue. I already make so many decisions every day for work and life, and getting dressed somehow became another mentally exhausting task. I also realised I have too many clothes, but somehow still rotate through the same few outfits repeatedly. At the same time, I keep buying more pieces because I feel like I “have nothing to wear”, while also struggling to let old items go. That creates this cycle of clutter, overconsumption, and decision paralysis. Alta helps me simplify things. Another big reason is saving time. I’m not someone who can realistically plan outfits the night before. Most mornings I panic-pick things, and if the outfit doesn’t feel right, it genuinely affects my mood and wastes time before work. I also have many pieces that I like individually but never really knew how to style properly. When I was researching digital wardrobe apps, I actually first found Alta through Reddit discussions. The number of reviews wasn’t huge yet, but the ratings were incredibly high. Then I looked through the demos and immediately liked how sleek and refined the design felt. The Vogue/media mentions also gave it credibility.

It has made me feel so much more organized, and it's so handy. For example- if I'm running late from an event and I quickly have to go home and change but have no idea what to wear, I can easily just open the app pick it out and Bing bang boom stress be gone outfit prepared. It's also made me so much more confident in what I wear, because I know about so much more about what i even have in my closet! I especially love uploading new items to my closet! It's so much fun, and it all around makes the app more useful in the end. My favorite feature though definitely has to be the one where you take a photo of what you wore or are wearing for the day, and simply upload it to the app to gain a streakkkk. To conclude because I talk a lot, it's an amazing app and I couldn't say otherwise than you should totally get it (all free btw).

I like using ALTA to find new combinations of clothes I already own and get more out of my wardrobe. I set a challenge for myself last year to wear a different outfit every day I worked for the year and ended up running out of ideas after 8 months. Since recently downloading ALTA I feel that I can explore new options without sacrificing my creativity in fashion. I’m new to ALTA but plan to use it to track pieces in my wardrobe that I’m not wearing a lot and try to incorporate them more. With ALTA it feels like literally shopping your wardrobe since the pieces are prettified to look like online shopping
