I have had the best experience with Pixi over the last few days and it has helped me to re-think how I can use social media better and for the betterment of myself and those I touch. I wish I could afford to keep these three days trail to continue but I have to be honest and practical.5 I wish I could give 100% here is my virtual hug back to my Pixi
Don’t fall for this!! Charged immediately while on Free Trial!!
Dancer 61
Firstly they charged me over the current exchange rate amount immediately upon my starting the Free (but not free!) Trial and I’m still trying to get a response. Secondly it was useless. I asked it to put letters for a tattoo on the diagonal at roughly a 45* angle and it never managed to get even close. After an hour of fighting with it and still being nowhere near what I asked for I asked it to just draw a diagonal line - it drew an X!! As for the concept of small it kept producing full shoulder or arm or half a chest as ‘SMALL’!! It dropped things I had written and then stressed as important for the actual meaning and would put it back and then drop it/them again. It never came remotely close to what I was asking and I had simple things I wanted not a sleeve or complicated art work. Also it was clear it was pulling existing images not creating something new or what I wanted - near enough was good enough! At one point it actually tried to terminate the whole thing by saying that the 2 letters with an & in the middle, on an angle with tiny hearts was just too difficult as was a tiny Snoopy as a baby/puppy. If those images were too difficult to generate and keep small when the title of the page was ‘Discrete tattoos for Seniors’ - its title not mine - then it’s just not very good. I’m asking for delicate and it comes back with big, bold & heavy black font, straight line and no tiny hearts I think you can put that in the epic fail pile! This is not an advanced AI so don’t get caught & charged particularly for something so useless, with illegal charging and an extreme reluctance to respond to you!
Developer Response
Hi Dancer 61. Our support team have been in touch multiple times with no response. As we explained, we don't see that you have any subscription or payments made with Pixi. If you would like to respond to us we'll be happy to try and clear this up. Thank you!
Okay but some interface and function issues
kirstyoz
It’s pretty good to summarise reviews of products or information about a topic, but quite a number of times it has presented information to be as factual which I know to be incorrect. I’d prefer to know if information is drawn from a single source or cross checked (or not) and not presented with such certainty. It’ll only cause issues. Trying to work out the magic formula to successfully instruct the AI image generator is like reading tea leaves. I’ve never yet gotten it to work. And I HATE the dynamic ‘typed’ response to questions with haptics vibrating my phone. The jarring movement of the text gives me a headache - literally. You can’t even touch the screen to ‘hold’ it in place at the beginning of the response so you can start reading. You are forced to watch the screen spasm for as long as it takes to pseudo-type a reply which could have just appeared as a whole in a few milliseconds. Paired with the haptics (which I’ve now turned off) it makes me anxious. I’m entirely sure it should come with a seizure warning. I’m pretty sure all the teams working on this thought it was a terrible idea but someone at the top decided they LOVE this feature because it gives the app some personality or something. Because there is no way that teams of highly educated people all got behind this interface.
Fantastic AI App
LJFirefly
I have been really thrilled with the results of this App. I have only been trialling it for a couple of days and I’m amazed at the results. Customer support have been wonderful. They are adding new features all the time. I can see this being one of the top logo generating apps.
