The Recraft mobile experience remains fundamentally broken despite months of "bug fixes." The app suffers from critical limitations compared to the desktop version:- No upscaler/creative upscaler on mobile- Interface is slow, unintuitive and clunky- Website is unusable on mobile, removing that as a fallback option- History view provides less information and fewer options than desktop- Prompt copying functionality is broken despite visual indicators- UI is overly simplified yet confusingly designed for new usersIn February 2025, the service experienced a complete 5-day outage where users couldn't access ANY generated images. Despite this total failure, Recraft:1. Failed to acknowledge the issue for days2. Provided no official status updates3. Later claimed it was "minor" and "only affected History view" when requesting refunds4. Required regulatory complaints and chargeback threats before processing refundsAccording to a Discord mod, there's no external testing - only devs test updates, creating a negative cycle that resolves nothing. Update logs confirm this, showing endless "bug fixes" with no meaningful improvements.When paying premium prices, users deserve both feature parity across platforms and basic reliability. Recraft fails at both. The company's handling of the February outage demonstrated concerning priorities - minimizing serious issues rather than supporting paying customers.EDIT: After filing formal complaints with regulators and my bank, Recraft suddenly processed my refund while simultaneously removing my Discord access. Their actions speak volumes about how they view customers who exercise their consumer rights.
