The end of an era, the dawn of another; the fall of a faction, the rise of another... The torchbearers shall shine upon the brave new world.
After severing ties with G&K, the Commander bid farewell to the past and chose to venture into the contamination zones. During their journey, the Commander encountered more and more individuals and Tactical Dolls. Each with their own unique stories, they became indispensable members of the Commander's team. The Commander, who only sought to complete bounty missions smoothly and earn a stable income, was unexpectedly ambushed during what appeared to be a routine transport mission. Far from the bustling vortex, it became clear that the Commander had been drawn into an even larger maelstrom...

I do appreciate a lot of the early pulls and the very early auto battle function, much appreciated. There’s a little issue that I have and it’s that the first event boss is quite difficult to beat and requires cheesing (even this is patched mostly though) I would hope that regular event (not even hard mode) would be easier especially since people are only just starting and we are locked behind progression, the energy and level lock in campaign, which is fine, but at least make the bosses actually semi killable please? I’d be fine if it was super hard on hard mode, but this isnt hard mode and we’re only just beginners, thanks.
Good gameplay but story / characters leaving is a major negative
Glaceon_471
The gameplay is really good. The characters are interesting and well developed. However, the game gives the impression that we can form meaningful relationships with the characters (“Forge Unbreakable Bonds with Your Dolls”). At the end of the first time limited story, the key character in the story (Suomi) leaves the Elmo and there is no indication she comes back. This essentially means that after paying actual money to recruit her and for her outfit (which I did the day before finishing the story) every interaction with her in the Elmo is “non canon” and doesn’t matter or mean anything because she’s not really there. So “they became indispensable members of the Commander's team” - not really since they leave. “Forge Unbreakable Bonds with Your Dolls” - except that they’re non canon since the dolls don’t stay in the Elmo. The story explanation for this also seems to suggest this will be the case for all original GFL characters. This drops my motivation to continue playing the game and certainly to continue spending on it. If this isn’t important to you, you’ll enjoy the game, but I think it’s worth knowing ahead of time if story and immersion are important to you.
Developer Response
Dear Commander. Sorry to hear that. If you have any feedback or suggestions for the game, we'd appreciate it if you could share them with us within in-game customer service or send them to our support email: GF2ENsupport@sunborngame.com.
A small request
Schuman Lykan
This is one of the most important upgrades from the former game. As a veteran from the OG Girls frontline 1. The second series is a real revolutionary. It’s required brand new Strategy, Gameplay, Feature, Character Design, New interface and character interaction. So I have no clue to give this game a bad review… But with all respect, would it be possible to you - the game developers to bring back M4 SOPMOD II from the old franchise? With all respect and kindness Lykan
Not worth investing too much time and money

Story is good as well as the character design and quality. The rest of the game isn’t great however. Too much bloat with the devs adding fluff content while the core gameplay remains unsatisfying as it lacks variety with repetitive reuse of enemies and uninteresting stage design.Overall the game is worth playing as its story is one of better ones. Get a single team of fully levelled and geared dolls to ensure you can clear all campaign content comfortably. Then enjoy the dorm content and other game modes until it stops being fun then log off. It’s not going to get better than that anytime soon.
