I have just downloaded and installed this app, however it seems to want a paid subscription to be able to join or initiate a new meeting. Very disappointing from Google.

You can use the app free of cost by pressing the “Continue with Free” button available at the bottom of the premium screen. The app does not require a paid subscription to access the free features.

I followed all the prompts. It seemed to have started. Everyone could hear me and see me but I couldn’t see or hear anyone. It was all black. Super embarrassing.
