It also includes tuners designed specifically for each instrument, drones (long tones for intonation practice), metronomes, and combinations of these tools (metronome/tuner, metronome/drones). I’ve been using this app as a homework task to help my students learn the fingerboard properly. It gives them all the information they need and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the recordings of each note sound. Many of my students are also finding it much easier to understand and memorize their scales now. Highly recommended!

This app has proved an absolute game changer for my students learning scales. If we go through the scale builder for a few weeks in a row, I have seen beginner-intermediate students suddenly understanding how to play in keys with multiple sharps and flats, and with smiles on their faces! There’s heaps more in the app, but if you get it just for the scale features alone, you will not be disappointed.

It is a handy tool for learning strings positions and fingering. It has a fingerboard map and requires ten correct questions in a row to move on to the next level. It can be challenging , but teaches you a strong understanding of the positions on the fingerboard. A fantastic app for all level musicians !!
