I loved the game to start with but after a while it sort of “stalls”. Trying to upgrade buildings and heroes or doing research is a nightmare. It is so hard to get enough materials and all the other gadgets you need to upgrade. It takes days just to get new workers as you only get one when you hold a feast. You don’t get crystals to use for getting heroes either. I loved the scouting and exploring but it comes to a stop very quickly as your troops are never strong enough to kill the occupants of the stone circles. The events are so many that it is hard to keep up and most of them you can’t take part in because you do not qualify. Keeping VIP status is another thing that is getting impossible after the first few weeks. Unless you spend lots of money on buying all kinds of bundles to get what you need to keep moving forward in the game there is no point in trying to play it as you will never move forward. It is very disappointing that all the games are the same and it is all about how much money you spend on them. I have played about 10+ “different” games in the past 2 months but the only difference between them are the graphics as the story lines and games progression are exactly the same and they are totally different from the ads that grabs your attention and makes you want to try the game.

The events are exciting, the rewards are generous, and it truly gives every player a fair chance to grow and shine. You can really feel the effort and passion from the developers. Every update makes the game even better, and the community is full of friendly, helpful and active players. New to the strategy space is Fate War. If you are familiar with RoD and CoD then you will understand the game immediately. However, Fate War brings vast improvements to the strategy world, allowing for f2p competitiveness with big spenders. It is brand new, still has a few things to improve (normal in any new game launch) but it is loads of fun filled with loads of freebies. So if you like battling other players, outwitting your opponent and doing it all with your Alliance mates then this is the game you really need to try. Can successfully grow if patient without spending a cent

As other reviews have hinted the time to grow your city or troops expands as you increase the levels and the only way to do it quickly is to buy boosts and gems, but if you give it time and develop your economy, then your army, then your tribe showdown skills you can be a level 27 and win tribal showdowns in two player teams for free. Just give ten to fifteen minutes of your time every four hours. Play the mini games as the come and you will succeed for free. Overtime.
