Very good for practice, the AI voices sound authentic and are relevant. Call mode is really useful as well for practicing conversation flow. App and website are both well built with minimal glitchesI like how the flash cards can be filtered so you only practice certain ones eg. ones you’re still learning, but it would be useful if a feature could be added where we can make our own filters/groups for cards so we can practice certain topics or cards.
Too many fundamental errors

In French, still makes basic, fundamental errors ! Mispronouncing ‘ ils ‘ followed by a consonant, changing the correct ‘ j’irai ‘ to the incorrect ‘ je irai ‘, insists on minor differences in pronunciation between future and conditional conjugations that many, if not most, French speakers don’t make, and is virtually impossible to attain for non-native speakers. Too much book training and not enough expert training ?Also, just mishears too many words - I regularly speak with native speakers over internet and telephone without such problems. Response when reported - it will improve in time, not ‘ we will fix that ‘ Been using it long enough to know it doesn’t necessarily improve in these areas ! Remains more frustrating than beneficial at this stage for me.

I really want to love this app. Unfortunately it has real trouble detecting what I’m saying. I use a couple of other AI apps and none of the others have an issue and neither have several others I’ve trialed. They get it right 98% of the time. This app about 50 per cent. It’s also slower than a lot of the other apps. I’m on the the unlimited tier for reference. I’m on an annual subscription until October so I’ll see if it improves but I feel like what was one of the best apps is being left behind.I also had the issue today that Vincent pronounced the s in est in the French course.
