Picking a cookbook is now one simple list with your recent ones marked, you can clear or swipe away items in your import history, and rating a recipe takes just a tap. Selecting several recipes at once feels the same everywhere in the app now, and recipes open noticeably faster. You can choose which cookbook a recipe goes into while you import it, right from the share sheet, and set a default so everything lands where it belongs. Cookbooks just got a much bigger icon set. There are 150 to choose from now, organised by category, so it is easier to find one that actually fits. Turning a meal plan into a shopping list now takes a single tap. Pick the days you are cooking and everything you need lands in your Shopping List, ready to tick off. New this time: a gentle weekly nudge to help you plan the week ahead, and a friendlier first few days if you are just getting started. The calendar is more compact, so you can take in more of your week at a glance, and when the month view is open the day's nutrition folds into a single tidy line, leaving more room for your meals. Recipes that only live inside an image can now be read as a last resort, Pinterest short links work again, and imports that used to get stuck now finish on their own. Printing is here. Take your shopping list to the shop on paper, or pin the week's meal plan to the fridge. Available to Pro members, for your own lists and your family's alike. Recipe Notes now feels at home on iPad. The welcome flow, the share sheet you see when saving from other apps, and the cookbook switcher have all been reworked, so nothing gets cut off or stranded at the edges of a big screen. In your shopping list, swipe any item to delete it. In your meal plan, swiping now moves one day at a time, and the month calendar has a cleaner look that finally fits every day of the month. Adding an ingredient or a step while editing a recipe now drops your cursor right where you need it. Signed in and your recipes are missing? If they are saved under another account you have used on this device, we will point you to it instead of leaving you staring at an empty shelf. Recipe steps are easier to read now. The text is larger and darker, and it follows your system text size setting, so instructions stay clear whether you are reading up close or from across the worktop. Tap the steps count at the top of a recipe and you will jump straight down to them. Saving recipes feels calmer too. Each import now shows a single progress bar instead of several spinners competing for your attention. A few more touches: filter chips no longer shift around when you tap them, switching cookbooks takes you back to the top of the list, and nutrition info now sits just below the instructions. If your session ever expires, the sign-in screen now remembers you. You will see which account you were using and how you signed in last time, and if you sign in with a different account, we will tell you before anything changes. Your cookbooks shelf looks better too. Uncategorised now shows the real covers of your recipes instead of a stand-in image, and there is a New cookbook card at the end of the grid, so starting one is always within reach. Meal Plan and Shopping List both got a cleaner look, too. You can now add snacks alongside breakfast, lunch and dinner, and turn any week's plan into a beautiful image to share with anyone. Search has a home of its own. Tap search and you get a full screen for it, with filters that make finding the right recipe quick and easy. We also fixed an issue where some imported recipes could lose their photos, made pinning inside a cookbook stay within that cookbook, sorted out a few login and subscription hiccups, and polished plenty of small details along the way. We also fixed an issue where your existing recipes wouldn't sync to Reminders or Calendar until the next change after granting permission. Now everything syncs right away.
