I saw this app on instagram and my child loved seeing and hearing the tutorial stories. But once I downloaded the app and wanted her to watch and listen to the story she was upset as to why there wasn’t any video as shown on the instragram add. I found it misleading and she didn’t find it interesting. Before anyone comes here to attack me to say it’s haram to have pictures but these pictures are not true pictures, so it doesn’t matter and plus my child is 7. I decided to cancel and I won’t ask for my money back or a chargeback but again I found it misleading. Thank you

Let Users Try Before Asking Them to Pay

I installed Quran Stories – Ayatica and spent quite a bit of time answering all of the onboarding questions, expecting to see how the app works afterward. Instead, I was immediately asked to pay for a monthly subscription before I could even try the app.It doesn’t make sense to ask users to pay before they have a chance to experience the app and decide if it’s worth the subscription. A free trial or at least access to some basic features would make a much better first impression.Unfortunately, this paywall-first approach is frustrating and disappointing. In my opinion, many users will leave before they ever get to see what the app offers. Unless the developers rethink this approach, I believe the app will struggle to keep new users.

No proper stories - dodgy pricing

Just an overview of their lives which we already know, no facts, no dates, not even their age is mentioned. No proper details of them as individuals is provided just telling us they we kind, not arrogant, had trust in Allah etc on repeat. Please update these stories with more information and details so we can be informed and interested in listening more otherwise it’s just a waste of money.***UPDATE*** I discovered this morning that the $40 premium subscription I subscribed for actually charged me $140. No easy way to contact them through App Store to seek remedy either. All the stories are AI-generated drivel with no meaningful connection to Quran, Hadith, or with factual info. Canceled my subscription and requesting immediate contact to remedy billing.
