- You can now buy in-game offers straight from the game's App Store page, including the Survival Kit and Stashes that haven't been unlocked yet. The page only shows purchases you can make right now. The game checks the offer first and then opens the usual payment window. If you already have the item or have hit its purchase limit, you'll see a message and won't be charged. - Refreshed the tap sound with a few variations and made a couple of sound effects slightly louder. - Every Travel now starts with a fresh hero: HP, level and revives left over from your previous Travel no longer carry over. - Travel gold is now always paid out, however you close the summary screen. - In battle, your hero now stops and attacks an enemy as soon as it comes within reach while he's running, so he strikes a few moments sooner. - If the store is slow to respond, the game no longer gets stuck on the loading screen. After a few seconds you go on into the game while the shop keeps connecting in the background. - Fixed the game hanging on the purchase loading screen when a purchase needs approval first, for example through Ask to Buy. - Fixed a crash that could happen when signing in to Game Center. - Fixed minor bugs and improved performance, with lower memory use and shorter freezes in long battles.

- Added Hero Stash II, the second stage of the Hero Stash. It opens once you've bought the Hero Stash and claimed all its rewards. It has 15 new tiers from hero Lv.1400 to Lv.2790, with 100 Greens per tier on the free track and 11,000 to 25,000 Greens per tier on the paid track. - Added Office Tower Stash II, the second stage of the Office Tower Stash. It opens once you've bought the Office Tower Stash and claimed all its rewards. It has 10 new tiers from floor 55-10 to floor 100-10, with 1 Legendary key per tier on the free track and 10 Legendary keys per tier on the paid track. - When you claim the last reward of a stash that has a next stage, a message lets you know you found it, and the stash screen switches to the new stage by itself. - The not-enough Pills and DNA popups now have an AFK Rewards row. It shows what's already waiting for you and what's still coming (and when), and its button takes you straight to AFK Rewards on the Travel screen. - If upgrade prices have gone up since you upgraded an item, resetting it now asks you to confirm first. The message shows how much you get back and how much it would now cost to upgrade the item again. - Rage attacks come faster: once the rage bar is full, the pause before the Rage attack is 5 times shorter. This goes for heroes and enemies that build up rage. - Melee Rage attacks have a different swing animation, and the hit lands in time with it. - Once every enemy in a fight is dead, your party stops taking damage, so leftover damage-over-time effects or attacks already on their way can't turn a win into a loss. - After you get back the companion the Marauders took early in the game, Marauders holding another companion can now show up in that same chapter. Before, they only showed up from the next chapter on. - The Free Hugs encounter no longer offers Super Life next to Angel Blessing, so picking between them is a real choice. - Clearing the final (10th) floor of a tower no longer gives a bonus of 10 Office Tower Tickets. - In the Office Tower, enemies can no longer be knocked off the right edge of the screen, and enemies that don't walk, like the ram, no longer get stuck out of view. - If an Office Tower or Lair floor fails to load before its fight starts, it now ends with no result instead of counting as a loss. You get your Office Tower Ticket back and can try the floor again. - The game no longer gets stuck on the loading screen when game texts download slowly or the store is slow to respond. - Fixed purchases failing after the connection to the store dropped. - Fixed a failed Game Center sign-in at launch sometimes starting a fresh profile instead of loading your linked account. - Your screen no longer turns off by itself mid-battle while you watch auto-fights. - Fixed minor bugs, sounds and visuals, and improved performance and memory use, especially in battles.

- Companions you don't have yet now show your chance of rescuing them from the Marauders: tap the Marauder Truck badge or open the companion's info to see the chance per run. This only counts for your current chapter. - The summon chance popups now show how likely a run of your current chapter is to bring Marauders holding a new companion, and how that chance splits across each rarity. - The What's New window now has two tabs, Current and List, instead of a single mode button. - Added Companions: allies who fight alongside your hero. 8 are available: Pepper, Maria, Andrea, Medic, Sheriff Charlotte, Queen, Surgeon Lt. and Queen de la Muerte, each with unique skills. - Companions fight with a share of your hero's HP and DEF that grows by 1% every 5 companion levels. Recruit them with Signal Rockets, level them up with Provisions, merge duplicates into higher rarities and boost their bonus stats in Build using Pills and DNA. - New story: meet Maria on your first adventure and rescue her from the marauders starting in chapter 3. Other companions can also be rescued from marauders during adventures. - Added the Zombiepedia: study every zombie, hunt them for rewards and unlock their field notes. - Added 34 Achievements with Greens rewards. - New adventure skills Combo Attack, Ice Charge and Stun Charge bring combo hits, freezing and stuns, but bosses and elites can't be fully locked down by them. - Added game controller support: move around menus with the D-pad or stick with navigation sounds, see button hints on screen, switch pages with the shoulder buttons and use the right stick as a cursor. - Daily tasks include companion tasks and show the nearest locked lair or tower task every day, with its Go button telling you which chapter unlocks it. You can now open a single Legendary Chest for 320 Greens right in the store. - Better layout on tablets and other large screens: menus, the shop, the tower and locations now fit the whole screen neatly. - Updated several combat sound effects, including weapon shots. - Lairs now go up to level 200 (was 100), and hero level rewards continue up to level 2790 (was 1290). - Lairs unlock at new chapters: Boss after chapter 2, Paramedic after chapter 3 and Marauder's Base after chapter 7. - Office Tower gold rewards reworked: floors 1–50 pay a steady 500 to 990 gold, floors 51–100 gradually shift to the regular reward, and from floor 100 on each floor pays 75% less gold than before. - Office Tower is tougher from the 3rd tower on: enemies on floors 2–9 get bonus levels, so the difficulty climbs steadily toward the boss floor. - Enemies in chapters 3–10 are tougher: they get up to +3 levels in chapter 3, and the bonus shrinks to zero by chapter 10. Chapter rewards stay the same. - AFK gold increased from 3 to 10 per minute; gold rewards and hero level-up prices were rebalanced. - Attack Speed bonuses now only make your hero attack faster and no longer also boost Attack damage. - SMG buffed (Attack Speed bonus at Epic 5% -> 10%, at Mythic 10% -> 20%) and Road Atlas buffed (at Epic 15% -> 30%, at Mythic 10% -> 20%). - Dodge chance and damage reduction are capped at 75%, and run skills and bonuses can no longer push block damage or the low-HP healing and dodge thresholds past their caps. - Road fights start right away, and stunned or frozen units can no longer counter-attack. - A revive triggers instantly on any lethal damage, including damage over time, reflected damage, explosions and ice shards, and the health it restores depends on the revived unit's own Skill DMG. - The boss's rage splash applies stun, freeze and elemental effects like a direct hit, healing over time is no longer reduced by damage-over-time resistance, and a negative Ice bonus also lowers ice shard damage. - Chests no longer favor equipment types you don't own yet. - Starting the game without internet is more reliable, and the loading screen lets you retry or, if loading gets stuck, contact support. - Faster and smoother game loading, plus minor bug fixes.

- The "Level up hero" daily task now completes automatically if your hero is already fully upgraded, so you can always finish all daily tasks.
