I’ve give VooDoo games the benefit of the doubt almost every time. Their usual flash games full of ads and BS leave me quickly disappointed and deleting the app within a day. This time is different. Draft Showdown is genuinely what the ad portrays, with a great PVP mechanic of card selection that makes or breaks each round. I really really like this game, so much so that I’m actually writing a review. Hats off guys, this one’s a winner! What I want to see: a friend function so I can vs my mates.Demo of the cards so I don’t have to trial and error them and loose my precious trophies .
Great bones, better than most mobile games out there.

The game itself has great bones, the only thing “holding it back” is the p2w aspect. Granted, you’ll find nearly all games even slightly similar to this are the same. Really enjoyable game loop, nice variety of cards, fairly balanced from my playtime. (I’m currently in silver after playing for about 2 weeks) A couple things though, just my opinion or what I’ve observed to be true; Assassins are only good early game, outclassed immediately by archers or any slower tanks, a small health buff would help imo. Beetank also outclassed by archers and Snail 9 times out of 10. Sixshoot I believe needs a slightly faster reload time, gets overrun way too easily late game. TNT and Toxic Barrel almost desperately need nerfs, they’re in nearly every game, and with certain builds you almost can’t lose with either/ or. Just a couple “gripes” but great work so far, enjoying the game. 👍
RNG too uneven and overwhelming. Completely dilutes strategy in too many games

I was enjoying the game, but then I got seven matches in a row where strategy was immaterial. My opponent was constantly handed the option to double their units and well-timed upgrades after amassing units. I almost never got doubles, and when I did it was when I had too few for it to even matter - eg the choice between double level 1 snails (I have 2) and +2 snails. WOW! What a choice! Meanwhile, my opponent casually doubles their second level cupids for the third time - something I’ve been wanting to do even just once with my unupgraded cupids.Any game which uses luck always needs some way to balance out its potential excesses, and that many games in a row of incredibly improbable bad lack upon reaching the verge of advancing to the third Arena looks downright malicious. It’s disappointing when the premise had such promise, but I’ve chosen to uninstall the game. If this is the experience, there’s genuinely no point in continuing.
Amazing game, but room for improvements

Downloaded this game the other day and I absolutely love it,only thing I would like to see in the future is adding friends and able to 1v1 them. I also noticed when you are selecting units it would give you two of the same thing just one two times, for an example when it’s my turn to pick which units to put down it will have 1x snail and one of the other cards is 2x times the amount of what you already have which is useless. I would rather have the option of my other characters to have a more even and fair battle. Overall this game has a lot of potential and I could see it becoming something bigger, it’s highly competitive and a strategic game. Would be better in the future to actually verse real people rather than AI.
