Version 6.2.0 • Fixed backups that reported success while copying nothing. Two faults combined to stop a run before it read a single file, and then hid the failure behind a green check. This could affect any Home or iCloud Drive backup. Failed runs are now reported as failed — if a backup switches to failed after updating, that is this fix telling you the truth. • Quick Look now works for files on a remote. Previews failed with "The file doesn't exist" for every file type; the real error was being replaced with a misleading one. • iCloud Drive backups now include your apps' iCloud documents, not just the folder Finder shows. Existing backups gain the coverage automatically, with no duplication and nothing re-uploaded. • Backing up iCloud no longer fills your Mac. Files that iCloud had offloaded are put back as soon as each one is backed up, so a long first run doesn't pile up on the disk. Files you deliberately keep downloaded stay put. • Time Portal now shows what your backup actually contains, not only what changed, and restoring a file returns it to its own folder instead of the top level. Version 6.1.6 • Fixed a major memory problem. Left running, Enter Space could grow to tens of gigabytes of memory — enough to slow your whole Mac down and push it into swap. It now stays flat no matter how long it runs or how much it syncs. • Search now actually searches subfolders. Searching a remote only ever looked at the folder you were in and silently skipped everything nested inside it, so results were missing files that were plainly there. • Browsing and indexing large cloud folders is far lighter. Listing a big remote used to build up work for every single folder without limit; it now uses your provider's own fast listing wherever that is supported, and a bounded walk everywhere else. • Scheduled syncs that watch a busy folder no longer pile up internal work, so a sync that has been running all day stays as responsive as one that just started.

Apple Watch: fixed a bug where opening a folder hid the back button — you can always get back to your library now. Layout, sort, and filter moved into a redesigned View Options menu (tap the button top-right, or press and hold the list) with a clean frosted backdrop. Performance: browsing and syncing large libraries on Apple Watch is faster and uses far less memory, and the app is lighter on memory across the board. Plus stability fixes.

PHOTOS LIBRARY: an Apple-Photos-style library over any of your remotes — timeline, Places map, Albums, Favorites, search, Live Photos, true RAW develops, and 360° viewing. Indexed into a private, encrypted on-device library that syncs across your devices without any server. It now keeps itself up to date: it re-checks your folders when you open it, and immediately when a scheduled sync adds new media — even if Photos wasn't open at the time. New media is indexed newest-first, so a photo added today shows up right away instead of behind years of back catalogue. NEW — ALBUM EDITING: add a selection to a new or existing album, or remove it from one. Changes are saved alongside your files on your own storage, so they survive a rescan and travel with the photos. Find it in a storage location's menu. • Google Drive and Google Photos now require your own API credentials: due to a decision by Google, shared access is going away. Comic book reader. Open any .cbz, .cbt, .cb7, or .cbr archive as a Media Gallery session. Pages display in natural reading order, animated GIF / WEBP pages stay animated, ZIP64 archives over 4 GB are supported, and extracted pages are encrypted at rest with a fresh AES-256-GCM session key — the key lives only in memory and is dropped along with the temp cache the moment you close the gallery. Safer crypt-to-crypt scheduled syncs. Syncing between two encrypted remotes now compares the actual decrypted passwords (not the random-nonce obscured form), so the "Switch to Encrypted Blob Sync" optimization is only offered when the keys are truly interchangeable. A new red key-slash warning calls out crypt pairs whose passwords actually differ — useful for catching "I thought these were the same" misconfigurations before a sync runs.
