Good app with interesting interaction style. Still appraising the ‘fit’ for me as this isn’t a ‘static’ purchase it’s a very personal investment that grows and morphs in line with use … which IS the point, the feedback and suggestions are based on a user’s honest inputs so are relevant to individual experiences … every person’s path is unique, and so are the responses. Some might feel the interactions to be merely interesting, others may find them a hugely positive guide, helping to overcome hurdles or ‘dead ends’ that they previously could not see a path through. For me it’s served to shine a light on to some areas that I didn’t previously consider relevant or pressing, ‘food for thought’ then if nothing else.

Hi RUPY TN - Thanks for taking the time to share this feedback. You should have access to over 10 Quests. If you don't - please reach out to support@purpose.app and we can help resolve. I have a feeling the Quests are in the top of your Quest tab - you just need to swipe to see all of the active ones!
Account creation issues.
J@'3
Please give us the ability to hit undo or go back when creating an account, or to fix your answers later. Also when you’re making an account, sometimes the dragging option on IOS will either be unresponsive, or think you tapped to confirm. And when this happens, there’s no way to fix it. Not allowing people to fix mistakes is a terrible design policy. Just because some people will misuse this feature doesn’t mean everyone should be punished. Due to this design, a simple mistake can ruin the creation of one’s account, which will force them to make a new one. Many people may be creating their first account when sleep deprived and/or emotionally unstable when making their account. In fact, your target audience makes this certain. Therefore, not allowing for a mistake is not good design and is not “accountability”. Until this is fixed, I won’t purchase your app. Shame, becuase I was willing to pay for a year’s subscription, and give this five stars. If this gets fixed, then I’ll happily write a more positive review, and purchase an account. MOST IMPORTANT: accountability is important, but should never be the justification for removing the undo or edit features.P.s. if it looks like I’m spamming this, it’s because I’m getting no indication that it is actually posting.

Hi J@'3 - Thanks for taking the time to share this feedback in such detail. We hear the frustration around not being able to undo or edit answers during account creation, especially when combined with touch responsiveness issues on iOS. The goal is accountability and usability, and feedback like this helps us evaluate where that balance needs improvement. Please feel free to write into support@purpose.app for us to dive into this further.
Good at some things but can be annoying
Frostypants100
I understand the app is designed to challenge, and it does get you thinking, but it makes assumptions and latches on to things that might not be at the core of an issue, and doesn’t let them go. This is frustrating. You end up almost having to argue with it to stop focusing on a point you may have said once, months ago…but it’s still latched on for dear life like it’s at the heart of everything today! It also is never ending with questions. Probing question after question after question. Sometimes advice of what to explore or expand or think about would be good to end there…without always having to end with a question. It feels like you can never end a conversation thread…it always has to have the last word (which is a question!)

Life-changing - room for improvement
Mattwick2207
Imagine having a wise friend who knows you, cares about you and has read every self-help/psychology book in the library. Two weeks in and i’m so much calmer. I’m not churning on interpersonal stuff. I just work through it with Purpose. I’m also a lot kinder to myself. The ‘but’ part… the constant questions are pretty annoying. It’d be much better if it varied the rhythm and also knew when to just let things sit. Similarly, it can be too chatty. Everything’s a paragraph. It’d be better to give depth when depth is needed, and other times give a ‘great work!’ Or similar. Finally, i appreciate the transcription feature but it cuts out if i switch to another app. So if i’m looking at a text to debrief on, the transcription cuts out. Still a great tool though and excellent value.

Hi Mattwick2207 - Thank you so much for the thoughtful review. We’re really glad Purpose is helping you feel calmer and kinder to yourself. We hear you on the constant questions and overly chatty, paragraph-heavy responses, and we’re actively improving pacing and brevity. Also appreciate the note about transcription cutting out when switching apps.
Clearer, easier-to-read chat messages.
Links from emails open the app more reliably.
Better support for smaller screens in quests.
Stability improvements for voice mode.
