This update introduces Moments (previously called Temporary Mode). • When creating a post, you can now share post as a "Moment" which automatically deletes after 24 hours. • Moment posts show a small countdown timer so you and your connections will know when they will disappear. • Manage your Moments from your profile using Manage Posts, or directly from a Moment using the ••• menu. • You can also add a caption (optional) to a Moment when you're creating a post. • You can also delete a Moment you've posted at any time before the 24 hours expires.

This update features improvements for Messaging: • Write a Message — Open a conversation with one of your connections. Messages will update in real time with notifications optionally. • Draft Message — Any text you type into a conversation is saved as a draft until you send or clear it. • Pin Conversations — Swipe Right on any conversation to pin it. Pinned chats always stay at the top. • Mute Conversations — Swipe Right on any conversation to mute notifications. • Mark Conversation Unread — Swipe Let and tap Unread to flag a conversation for viewing later. • Delete Conversation — Swipe Left and tap delete to move a chat to Recently Deleted. • Recently Deleted — Chats in the deleted section can be restored or permanently erased and those deleted chats are stored for 30 days from the date of deletion. It is important to know that fully erased chats cannot be recovered.
