DETAILED SITE INFORMATION
Every spot includes:
What gems, minerals and rocks have been found there
Land status and access notes
GPS coordinates and directions
Weather and trip planning info
Notes from other fossickers
Fossicking rules are different in every state and territory, so check the current licence requirements with the relevant department before you head out.
PLAN THE TRIP
Check the forecast at any site before you commit to the drive. See nearby fuel, food, camping and facilities so you know what you're heading into.
YOUR PRIVATE FIND LOG
Save spots you've worked, mark favourites and keep a private log of your finds. Saved spots stay on your device and are never shared.
DRAW YOUR OWN ROUTES
Mark tracks you've walked, ground you've covered, or lines you want to come back to. Colour code them and save them privately.
WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL
Download map regions before you head out. Most good fossicking country has no reception, and RockHoundR keeps working offline.
