1.1.0 4 June
We tuned the everyday feel of PokeSnap so scans, browsing, and images stay fast, sharp, and consistent.
What’s new
PSA 10 estimate at scan
After you identify a card, the estimated PSA 10 value now shows directly under the main price. Check the potential graded upside at a glance without digging through menus.
Smarter new expansion alerts
PokeSnap now checks in the background for newly released expansions and notifies you as soon as one drops. No setup beyond keeping notifications turned on.
Faster & smoother
More consistent card scanning
We tightened the scan time budget so identifications either succeed quickly or fail fast. No more getting stuck for 30+ seconds on tricky cards.
Sharper images everywhere
Search results, expansion grids, collections, and the Pokédex now render at the correct resolution. Thumbnails look crisp, not blurry.
Less reloading when you reopen the app
A larger image cache means the same card images are ready immediately when you come back, with far fewer re-downloads.
Card details open crisp
When you tap a card from Search, a Set, or a Collection, the full-resolution image is ready by the time the detail screen finishes its animation.
Fixes
Chaos Rising loads on first launch
The latest expansion now appears right away instead of a few seconds later.
No more Home screen flicker
Expansion logos and the “latest expansion” card no longer briefly swap with other artwork.
Japan catalog restored
Switching the home selector to Japan now loads the newest Japanese expansion as expected.
Better pricing for brand-new sets
If prices aren’t available yet from some sources, PokeSnap shows “Price coming soon” instead of “Unavailable,” and automatically falls back to a secondary source so prices typically appear within a day.
Collections list is fully tappable
You can tap anywhere on a collection row to open it. The “…” menu still works for delete.
Under the hood
New Home tab icon with a card stack design.
Improved internal scan telemetry to help future tuning be data-driven.
