StepNote: AI Study Workspace
Notetaking with AI Feedback
Free · In-App Purchases
iPad
Get real-time AI feedback as you solve, not just the final answer. Upload a problem, write on the canvas, and StepNote guides your next step.
StepNote is an AI study workspace that helps students understand problems step by step instead of just copying answers.
Upload or capture a problem, write your work on the canvas, and let StepNote check your progress as you solve. The app reads the original question alongside your handwritten work, then gives targeted feedback on whether you're on track, missing a step, or making a mistake.
StepNote is built for students who want help while they're still learning the method, not a shortcut around it.
▶ STEP-BY-STEP AI FEEDBACK
See what to try next, not the full solution. StepNote reads your current work and points you toward your next useful step, so you fix mistakes as you go instead of after the fact.
▶ PHOTO AND UPLOAD SUPPORT
Snap a picture of a problem or upload one from your device, then start solving right inside the app.
▶ HANDWRITTEN WORKSPACE
A built-in canvas lets you work through problems the way you would on paper, especially on iPad with Apple Pencil.
▶ LEARNING MODES
Pick how much support you want:
Learn Mode — active feedback while you solve
Practice Mode — hints, without giving away the answer
Exam Mode — work independently and check your answer at the end
▶ AUTO FEEDBACK
Turn it on and StepNote checks your progress automatically as you write, no need to ask.
▶ RECENT AND SAVED WORK
Every problem is kept in your history, and you can save the ones worth returning to.
▶ FLEXIBLE STUDY SUPPORT
Homework, review, exam prep, or just working through a hard problem; StepNote fits wherever you're studying.
▶ UPGRADE OPTIONS
Free gives you daily access to the core tools. Standard and Pro raise your daily limits and unlock stronger AI models for heavier use.
