How many tiles do I need? Punch in your room size, your tile size and your grout width, and you have the answer in seconds: base tiles, the extras for cuts and breakages, how many boxes to buy, and roughly what the lot will cost you.
Most tile calculators online stop at square metres and leave you guessing in the aisle. This one goes all the way to the shopping list. Grout width is folded into the effective tile area, so the count matches how tiles actually sit on a floor once you allow for 2 or 3 mm joints. The waste percentage is yours to set, the tiles-per-box figure is yours to set, and every number rounds up the way a tile shop actually sells stock. Nothing is hidden behind a black box either: every result screen shows the full formula, step by step, with your own measurements in it.
