Wheelz is built for people who drive a lot and want everything tracked automatically. With location permission enabled, Wheelz detects when you start moving, begins a trip in the background, and wraps it up when you’re done. No manual start/stop needed. While you’re driving, you get a clean live drive view with speedometer and key trip details, so you can stay focused on the road while still capturing every mile. After each trip, Wheelz gives you a full breakdown of performance: distance, duration, and route history. Your drives are organized into an easy-to-browse timeline with detailed trip views, so it’s simple to look back at your best runs or monitor trends over time. Wheelz also helps you build a profile around your actual cars, not just your account. Add your vehicles with make, model, and year, personalize your setup, and keep your driving history tied to the car you’re using. The app combines a premium dark map aesthetic with fast, simple onboarding so you can get set up quickly and let Wheelz do the rest—automatic tracking, clean stats, and leaderboard-ready performance in one place. Subscriptions are available as auto-renewing in-app purchases billed to your Apple ID, automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and can be managed or canceled anytime in your App Store account settings under Apple’s standard terms. Very good app and love it! However it would be cool to change coast to coast as I live in Australia and would be cool to see how much coast to coast I do in Australia and change the laps of the Indy 500 to laps of Bathurst/mt panorama just as a bit of extra customisation over really cool app and no 24/7 pop ups like other apps

A fun and friend-centric driving logbook.Very clean and neat UI,, love the little route images after a drive, and the AI “Car Art” image generator is pretty cool. It’s also great that you don’t have to pay for the basic features. While I understand the app is new, I still have some reservations:- Not a huge fan of the app needing to have location tracking set to “always” (main reason for the 3 stars), which is where I’d prefer to have a manual start and stop feature within the app to record drives, and to just have the app open and recording when driving (this would also make the starting and stopping location more accurate, as automatic starts the drive a few hundred meters from your actual starting location). I also understand this saves battery.- Adding on to this, if manual recording were to be added, it’d be good to set an area around a point (i.e. your home), to not record the start of the drive within that area to maintain privacy.- When I was first adding my car, I was playing around with the details and photo, and ended up deleting and re-adding the car a few times, which resulted in me hitting a limit (which is fair enough I suppose, but I just wish there was a message to tell me how many times I could do this). It said free users can refresh the “Car Art” a certain number of times per year, however because I had deleted my car, I couldn’t re-add it as it would require the Car Art to be generated, which it couldn’t, as I’d hit the limit. Not necessarily the apps fault, but I suppose a warning or note would’ve been nice. Despite this, I was happy to pay for a months-worth of premium to add my car back.- Not necessarily a critique, but I’d love to see a feature where you can add notes and/or photos you’ve taken during a drive to add afterwards.Other than that, the app is excellent and friendly to use. Excited to see where this goes, it has potential!

The app will prevent you from using it unless the location settings are set to ‘always’, if not it won’t function. With it set to ‘always’ it chews through battery pretty quick.Also there is no way to manually start/stop a drive so every time you hop on a plane, train, bus or taxi it will log it as a drive. Very frustrating if you’re trying to only track personal driving
