Penny in the Passing Lane
Harness Form & Mile Rates
Free · In-App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Australian harness racing, read as harness. Driver, barrier row, gait and mile rate on every pick. Three picks a race, published before the race, still there after it.
Penny in the Passing Lane covers one code and one code only: Australian harness racing.
Harness is not thoroughbred racing with the word "driver" swapped in. It has its own shape - a sulky behind every horse, a front row and a second row, a gait that is either pace or trot, and a mile rate that says more about a horse than a bare win-loss record ever will. Penny reads all of it.
Every Australian harness meeting. Three selections per race, published 30 minutes before the race, and every one of them still there afterwards.
WHAT PENNY SHOWS YOU
- Three picks a race, with the driver named on each one
- Barrier and row, because the second row is a different race
- A projected run style from gate speed, drawn on the track
- Mile rate for every selection
- Pace or trot, flagged on every card
- A confidence rating for the race
- Trifecta Watch and market-mover alerts
- Results posted as they come in
WHY THE ROW MATTERS
Barrier one on the front row and barrier one on the second row are two different assignments before a stride is taken. Penny treats them that way, and shows you which one your selection has.
WHAT PENNY WILL NOT DO
Every tip is published before the race and stays published after it. Nothing is quietly removed. And where the data behind a projection is thin, Penny shows nothing at all rather than a confident guess - no run style, no badge, no placeholder.
