Shiftaroo is a roster for people who directly engage their own support workers — and for the workers themselves. If you have ever kept a support roster in a spreadsheet, a group chat and your head at the same time, this is for you. WHAT IT DOES Plan a week by dragging a support worker onto a day. Change a shift by dragging its edge. Copy last week and change the two shifts that moved — because after the first week, that is what rostering actually is. Send the week when it is ready. Nobody sees a shift until you do. Your support workers get their own view: every shift, across every family they work for, in one week. They can say yes, tell you they are away, or put their hand up when a shift needs covering. WHEN SOMETHING CHANGES Shifts move. Somebody gets sick. Shiftaroo tells the people affected — a notification on their phone, a text if that does not reach them, and an email so there is a written record. A shift nobody is on is marked plainly, so a gap is something you can see rather than something you discover on the day. HOURS AND INVOICES Shiftaroo works out which NDIS time bands each shift falls into — weekday, evening, night, Saturday, Sunday, public holiday, sleepover — using the rates you set for each worker. Support workers can turn worked shifts into an invoice, print it, save it as a PDF, or download the numbers as a spreadsheet for their accountant. MADE FOR THE PHONE IN YOUR POCKET Lay a week out on a tablet or computer if that suits you. Everything after that — moving a shift on the day, filling a gap, checking who is on — works on a phone, because that is where it actually happens. Readable text, real buttons, and a keyboard path for everything you can drag. Our users include people with disability, and the app is built that way rather than adapted later. WHAT IT IS NOT Shiftaroo does not do payroll, tax, superannuation or award interpretation. It does not submit anything to the NDIA or a plan manager. It never touches money, and it does not track anybody's location — no GPS, no geofencing, not ever. It is a roster. That is the whole idea. YOUR INFORMATION Stored in Australia. Never sold, never used for advertising. One family's roster is never visible to another. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app. Support workers use Shiftaroo free, always. Families can try it before paying.
