KungFuIronBodyPath is a training companion for people who are working through a kung fu grading syllabus rather than following a generic workout. You pick a lineage once — Shaolin, Wing Chun, Wushu or a general syllabus — and the app assembles a week of training around the sash you currently hold. Everything you complete reports back into a single requirement sheet, and that sheet is what decides when you are ready to test for the next grade.
Here is what a week looks like inside the app.
- The Path tab shows your current sash with a completion ring and the four to five training days built for it: forms and stance work, conditioning, an active recovery day, drilling, and a full review. Open a day to get a checklist with a countdown timer attached to every timed hold, or press Start Day and let the runner walk you through each drill in order with next, skip and complete controls. Closing a day writes it into your record and marks it on the week.
- The Forms tab holds the taolu belonging to your lineage, filtered by sash and searchable by name. Each form opens to a numbered breakdown of its sequence, the stances it draws on, and a difficulty grade. Mark a form as learned and it counts toward the curriculum requirement for your sash.
- Stance Lab is a three-step check. Choose the stance you are working on, take a photograph or pick one from your library, review the frame, and send it for analysis. You get a score from 0 to 100 and a short list of specific corrections — knee angle, spine, hip alignment. Your best score for each stance feeds the sash requirements. Every check is kept with its photograph so you can compare a horse stance in month one against the same stance in month six.
- The Conditioning tab carries stance holds, strength work, flexibility work and breathing sets, each with step-by-step instructions, a recommended duration or rep count, a rest interval and a difficulty grade. Add any drill to today's plan, or log a set on the spot with the built-in timer.
- The Sash tab is the grading board. It lays out White through Black as a timeline, shows exactly which requirements are met and which are outstanding for your current rank, and keeps the promotion button locked until every line is satisfied. Below it sits a wall of thirteen badges, your training streak, and a log of your last ten sessions.
Change your lineage at any time from Settings and the form library and stance lists switch with it; rebuild the regimen whenever you want a fresh week.
Your training record is written to your device's own storage and stays there. There is no account to create and no profile to fill in. The one time the app uses the network is when you send a stance photograph for analysis, and it asks for your agreement before the first time it does so. The scores it returns are supplementary feedback from an automated system — useful between classes, never a substitute for the instructor watching you train.
