Pixel Pals

Easy pixel art for kids

$1.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

The easiest way for kids to make pixel art. Touch a square and it's coloured in. No ads, no accounts. Pixel Pals is the simplest way for kids to make pixel art on iPad and iPhone. Pick a colour, touch a square, and it's coloured in. That's it. No menus to learn, no accounts, no setup: open the app and start drawing. Five big tools sit down the side: Draw, Erase, Fill, Pick and Move. The colours sit along the bottom. Made a mistake? Tap Undo. When they want more, it's there without getting in the way: • Press and hold any colour for lighter and darker shades • Palettes: Rainbow, Pastel, Forest, Ocean, Candy and People • Texture paints with shades of a colour, at random or in order • Zoom right in for the small parts, or out to see the whole picture • The board never runs out: keep drawing in any direction, and Fit brings the whole picture back • Works with Apple Pencil on iPad, and a resting hand leaves no marks • Give each picture its own name • Print a picture, sized to fill the page Every drawing saves itself as you go and waits in My drawings. Heart the favourites to find them fast. No ads. No in-app purchases. No accounts. Nothing leaves the device.
