I thought this app would help with design and composition, but all it does is calculate portion sizes. Any cake decorator worth their salt knows this already. Can’t get a refund (surprise, surprise), apple complaints just refers to developers. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

If your a cake decorator this is a very handy app to have and use. no more fiddling in your bag/wallet for a piece of paper or diary that has cake sizes scribbled on it whenever someone stops you in the shops or calls you upand wants to know there and then how big a cake would they need to feed 30 or 300 ppl or any other amount!.when I first saw the app I thought to myself... hmmm. could be just what I need ! so I bought it, when I realised it didn't have the 1"x1" serving size that is quite often used here in Australia for our fruitcake serving size at weddings mainly :) i contacted the makers of the program and asked them if it's possible to have it added into a future update and they agreed and said they would look into it for me! they have just emailed me tonight to let me know the new cake size I requested is in and for me to do the update for it! I am very impressed with the app now! and not sorry at all I bought it. what's a few bucks!! and it's just so handy to email yourself a copy of it.. and to be able to give out a printed copy of 'how to' cut the cake. that way I will not be held liable now when and if customers call back and say they didn't get enough serves because the cake was cut too big lol cheers! Extremely useful for my business, the guides show the correct way to cut the cake and the servings are accurate. I was told to re-install the app, when it got stuck once with a black screen and have had no issues since then. Great app with excellent customer service.
This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included.
This update will support iOS 9 onwards
- Fixed the black screen issue
- Added 8”,10”,14" Hexagon sizes
- Add 2” and 3” Round and Square sizes
- UI updates
