GREAT PROGRAM

We changed our home computer to a Mac and like other users I was a bit lost trying to find an easy & affordable solution to my book keeping needs. I had used Quicken for the past 20 years and was resistant to change. I did a bit of research and found the Debit & Credit App. Initially I tried the free version to see what it was all about. I quickly decided that I wanted the full version with all the features. I am very happy with this Application. It is very easy to use, love that I can click on the right top corner to open a quick transaction, select the appropriate account & enter the details instead of opening the whole program. I would HIGHLY Recommend the App to anyone looking for an easy to use home budgeting App.
Just what I wanted

I love it. I used to use Splash Money but after it stopped being supported after apple software update I needed to find a new one. I didn't want anything too complex, just the ability to record bank & credit card transactions for multiple accounts. This is simple & easy to use, easy to enter in new transactions, clear interface, sycs well between devices. The only improvement I would like is the ability for "pending" transactions to update the Balance so I can see whether I have enough money in an account for future scheduled transactions. Currently the Balance remains unaffected by any "pending" transaction so I could fall short if the future payments exceed my current balance.

Used this app for years now to track all our household spending. Once the categories are set up to your liking it is very simple to enter daily spending, and that makes statement checking and reconciliation very simple and allows you to plan your cash flow. It is also easy to go back and check past spending. Subtle improvements over the years keep the app ahead of the game. And the one time we used support the issue was solved within a day. Would not have such a tight control of our finances without the Debit and Credit app now!

I've been using this app for maybe 18 months now to track our family finances and budgeting. Really like it - simple and logical to use. Recently I had clitch occur and the app ended up freezing and would not open. I made contact with the app seller by email and after a couple of emal exchanges b and the provision of some background data, he was able to trouble shoot my problem and get the App back up and running. Great and very prompt suppport. Cannot recommend this App more highly.
This update resolves an issue where transactions created on a shared account displayed "another iCloud user" instead of the person's name. After installing this update, please open the shared account settings once to refresh your shared accounts. There is no need to re-setup shared accounts.
