The latest update which downloaded the smart start setting directly on to the hardware is an absolute game changer. Rarely do whitegood products see such a huge improvement OTA but this has made our machine infinitely more practical
A Simple Fix is Needed Please
Some Practical Advice
The app seems mostly okay so far. The only drawback however is that it requires the iPhone to be onthe SAME wifi network as the washing machine. I have more than one wifi network at home, and have all the appliances on a separate network to the iPhone, which means I need to turn off Wifi anytime every time I want to access the washing machine! Simple fix needed please - when the device is not on the same network as the iPhone, please provide access through the internet. Every other appliance I have from every other supplier is able to do this. Can you please also make this simple change to your app. If you do, then my rating becomes 5 stars. Thank you.
From gimmick to useless

This app was kind of useless for operating our dishwasher, since you had to be physically at the appliance to turn it on before the app would allow you to control it. That’s not to mention the fact that you need to be at the dishwasher to stack it anyway. Even if you wanted to delay the start, that can be performed from the appliance door. Turning the dishwasher on, getting out my phone, opening the app, selecting the device, then the control menu and then a start time was a complete faff, but was kind of fun in a gimmicky way. Now the latest update has broken the app so it won’t even connect to the dishwasher. After numerous failed attempts I’m saving time by deleting the app and using the manual controls.
Could not crash more often if it tried

Spent hours going through the crashfest that is initial setup. Poor design of the dishwasher means a four second press of the power on button factory resets it and you have to go through the whole process again. Given the power button does not provide any audible feedback to being pressed until you release it people are forever long pressing it to wait for something to happen and resetting the wifi connection meaning hours more crashing to get it back up again. I am very glad I did not buy this dishwasher for it’s connected feature as it is a complete waste of time.
