If a device has already been set up with an education or business MDM profile (Mobile Device Management) then you will not be able to add Kidslox unless you remove the original profile.
This app is so not worth the price. My mother paid for premium and she says it is not worth it. I’m a 15-year-old girl who is had this app for a year or so. It has this creepy VPN network that is controlled by the Chinese, research has shown that. And it is a massive invasion of privacy. It gave my mum a notification saying that I was searching up movies to watch horror movies, which was very unnecessary to tell her that. It has also made my Safari go extremely weird. I can’t even click on any photos without it telling me that it’s an inappropriate site. For example I wanted to go look at some make up products from Sophora and it said this website is not appropriate. Of course I’m gonna write a bad review because I’m a kid but I can confidently say that my parents agree and that’s the reason why we don’t have the app any more. It is a total waste of money and there’s so many more. And you can use screen time Apple for FREE. Definitely not worth the price. I don’t even recommend it’s a huge invasion of privacy and I just don’t think it’s worth it. Like I said before obviously I’m a kid, but my parents agree that this is the worst app anyone could have. Having this app for year has locked me out of my OWN PHONE and trust me I don’t change password I’m not that type of person. When I went to Apple, he said that KIDSLOX is the problem and I need to delete it and that was when my parents officially delete the app. I am truly disgusted and this is such a money grab. If you think this is worth it seriously where is your head at? Save your pennies Xoxo.

so i’m a 9 year old writing this and whenever my mum gives me more time like ten minutes i locked me in 2 minutes i ask her for time like 10 minutes again locks me in 2 minutes like i don’t get it and i have 2 VPNS 1 is the kidslox and 2 is one that protects me from hackers and hackers websites trying to collect your info and whenever i try to turn on the vpn that protects me from hackers it quickly switches back to kidslox you know why? CAUSE this is a Chinese app that spy’s on you and as soon as you download this app i gets your location like if your in the park with your friends with no parents you can get kidnapped by the kidslox people or all of your friends can get kidnapped how to delete on child’s ipad first go on settings general you scroll down and see vpn device management go on it see the kidslox press delete vpn put your passcode for your ipad where you unlock it put the passcode press delete then delete again and your child will be unlocked and the parent delete watch a video your child will never locked or spying on your child device anyways you don’t need a lock app just tell them to turn it off they will turn it off to

THIS APP IS A GLITCH BRO IT TOOK HOURS TO FIX IT

You know, my dad has put kidslock on my ipad before and one day I decided to move on to my mum’s ipad instead, and my dad put kidslock there because I’ve been on it for hours (however I was drawing on my mym’s ipad) so my dad told me about it and I was upset that he did that, then I asked my dad to removed it and so he did. While my dad was doing his job which was uber, he was using his phone for it. Then all off the sudden my dad came into the house going to the room telling me that his phone had suddenly been locked by kidslock even tho he’s the parent monitoring my device! And my dad was panicking. He got his other phone, his computer, charger and adaptor. He was figuring out how to get it out of his phone (and mind you it locked his phone during mid-uber) it totally made my dad turn into red mist, and it took about what? Around 1-2 hours or maybe 3, however at this hour right now he’s still figuring out! Then I researched on why this happened and it says it could either be a glitch. I HOPE THIS PROBLEM COULD BE FIXED! (If this happened to any of ya’ll, IM SO SORRY BECAUSE SAME-?!)

Ok, so, I downloaded this app for my little sister because she has a lot of time on her phone, but after a couple days she pointed something out. She told me that a vpn was on her phone and she couldn’t turn it off. I thought about it and realized that it is an extremely high chance that it was tracking information on my sister. We did a security check on settings and saw her phone was NOT SAFE. She also pointed out something else. She is a TikToker and posts videos actively and has a decent following. She couldn’t post videos on her TikTok account, whenever she tried, a message popped up that read “this video cannot be posted, retry.” Just a reminder she is 12 turning 13 in November which makes her the legal age for TikTok. Something else is that the wifi doesn’t work even when it’s turned on and on full bars. I have come to realize that this is a Chinese spy app proofed by in-depth research. <>
