Dumb designed app, impossible to setup with out a foreign phone number o/s. Also shows foreign number when calling so no one ever picks up your calls as they think it’s spam, can’t text message either to let them know it’s you. Haven’t made a successful call yet. got this to replace Skype. What a downgrade. Surely it’s in the apps best interest to allow customers without a phone number, and for people to actually answer apps calls as they make their money per minute. Level 10 dumb.
Hello Review molester,Please note Yolla requires using your own phone number to register in the app like in other apps that type, so we’re not sure why this has caused confusion for you. We’re sorry to hear about your frustration and that you haven’t been able to make successful calls yet. Please note that Yolla keeps your number and displays it correctly to the person you’re calling, although there may be exceptions for certain countries. This is done for reliability and security reasons.Unfortunately, your review doesn’t make it completely clear whether you’re referring to making calls or receiving them. To clarify: when you make a call through Yolla, the person you’re calling will see your number. Receiving calls through Yolla, however, requires using your SIM card, just like with a regular phone call.We understand this may sometimes be mistaken for spam, but rest assured your number is never shared with third parties. SMS sending is also available in Yolla, so you can let your contacts know it’s you before calling. If you’d like us to look into your specific case and help get your calls working, please reach out to our support team via the in-app chat or at hi@yollacalls.com. We’ll be glad to assist you.
